low calorie alcoholic beverages

Options
Hello - I'm wondering if there are any low calorie mixes that I could make at home for alcoholic beverages. I like coolers and they all are loaded with sugar so I'm trying to find a substitute for when we have a few drinks.

I just drink rum & diet coke. It's tasty and about as low cal as you can get booze to be.

Crystal Light makes fantastic flavors. Mojito with rum, Margarita with a good tequila, pink lemonade with vodka. The possibilities are endless.

I make a white wine spritzer. put a couple ice cubes in a wine glass, fill half way with your favorite white wine and add club soda and a lime. I love it!

I get mine a little tastier, I use vanilla, cherry, or cake vodka. I also prefer Coke Zero :)

Skinny Girl! I'm not sure what exactly it is, but it's ready-to-drink. I've only had it once and it's around 38 calories per serving!!
    Mojito, Mango, and others

The average flavored vodka is about 60 or so calories per 1 ounce (a shot). I mix strawberry vodka with (sugar free) tropical punch kool-aid!

Can't believe I never thought of that! Crystal Light mix with water then booze, or just with the booze?

vodka soda With lime. It's good if you put Mio in it. Depending on the vodka, it could be as low as 70-100 calories! The flavored vodka has more calories (not many more)

Sorry to strike fear in the hearts of men (and women) but I think Skinnygirl cocktails have around 38 calories per ounce, not per serving.

I've been on a kick of mixing white rum with coconut water and a little lime juice lately. It's refreshing. One other trick I use at home is to add more ice when I'm about halfway through the drink. That melts down and my one drink lasts longer. I've found I normally just like to have something to sip on, I'm not really going for a serious buzz.

Bourbon and maybe a single cube to open up the flavor profile.

    Scotch neat.

    Gin over crushed ice.
