top tips wanted

hi, just joined. seeking simple top tips to keep me motivated in my weight loss / get healthy efforts. what works best? what traps and dangers to avoid? wanting to lose about 20 lbs with a view of taking it steady rather than drastic loss that just goes back on.

    What worked for me is limiting carbs and sugar from my diet - eating lots of protein and veggies. Common sense, really, but it does work.
