Definitely not a huge fan of mainstream music (radio music, that is..) BUT... When I work out, it's all I listen to. I tone out the words and tune in to the beat, THAT keeps my heart rate going and keeps me working at a steady pace.
Radio.. that's all I got.

Might want to check out http://jog.fm ... It'll ID music by BPM/pace and, if you happen to use Spotify, you can use jog.fm to create playlists & then import them into Spotify.0
