Hello everyone
A great big thank you to everyone who has posted on this forum, when I feel like going off track I come on MFP and look at all of your amazing success stories.
I struggle to see much difference in myself when I look in the mirror (accordingly this is quite common!) so I thought I would be brave and post my progress pics.
MFP set me at 1200 calories and initially the losses were high but I now lose a steady 1lb per week. I use a weekly calorie total to guide me so I can incorporate meals and drinks with loved ones without worrying about going over my daily limit. I've tried to stick to low cal/low fat foods and have not limited any food groups.
Exercise wise, it's mainly been walking (when the weather permits, the UK is not blessed at the moment!)
Current weight is 161lbs. I initally set my goal for 150lb (it seemed like a pipe dream at the time) but I hope to get to 140lbs.
I wish everyone well and all I can say is keep at it one day at a time!
I started at 218lbs January 4th 2012:

Wendy, you are looking wonderful! Congratulations on your hard work paying off in such a lovely way!
I'm 5'4, as well, and started at 194 at the beginning of June. My goal weight when I started was 140, but I've since dropped it to 135, after a couple weeks of good successes.
I think you look fantastic, but if you decide to go lower, feel free to add me, and we can both take the journey together!
Congrats again on great results!!0 -
