[NSV] Got pulled over today...

About an hour ago, I got pulled over by a cop for the first time in my life (not bad for a 6 year run!). He told me I was going 9 mph over the speed limit, but that's beside the point. He asked to see my license and registration. I handed him my license.
"Whoa."
That's what he said. Being a little flustered from being pulled over, I managed to stammer, "Oh, I just lost 50 pounds... I promise it's me." He tried to play it off and said, "Oh it's just your hair... is different. But maybe that's it too..." I had it in a bun, and it was down in my license photo, but same style and color and everything.
I was a little offended at first, but I realized that, hey, what I've been doing really has made a difference! Just wanted to share.

Just my first gut feeling! I didn't expect it at all, just sort of an instant in-my-brain "this guy's pointing out how fat I was!" But the next second I obviously realized, I'm not the same obese person I was when the picture was taken and it's great that he noticed!0 -
