20 pounds/ 2 month challenge

I'm going to be challenging myself to loose 20 pound (or hopefully more...but at least 20) in two months (8 weeks).

So feel free to join in and we can do it together!

Start date - 10th of July 2012
End date - 4th September 2012

If you want to take part please state your *CW* as of today, Your *daily calorie goal* and *GW* (20 pounds off your current weight)

Weigh in will be every week on a Tuesday. Also adding a little information about your week in general is always helpful to other - For example, did you stick to your calorie goal? How much water have you been drinking? how much exercise? ...Don't be afraid to contribute if you also have a bad week/day as i'm sure there will be others and you are more likely than to get the support and motivation.

So, as i said i'm starting from today and i hope alot of you will want to join in! Imagine yourself 20 pound (or more!) lighter in two months time.

    I didn't actually weigh myself this morning and I'm already dressed and had breakfast so I'm just going to guess... I try to avoid my scale if possible... but this was my last weight from less than a week ago... hopefully we can motivate each other!
  • Fantastic!! I have a wedding coming up in just over two months and I've got my eye on a dress, however i need to loose at least 20 pounds for it to look as fabulous as i need it to look ahaha! Good luck for this week. Keep in touch and let me know how you're doing :) x

    I.was kinda bad last night (late snacking on sugar free pudding & fresh pineapple no less) that not only made me way over on my calories but made me weigh heavier today. A more accurate number is probably 195 but for honesty's sake I'll put what the scale said.

    A little about me: 23 years old, working a full time desk job in south florida. I have no kids but livew/ a roommate (my cousin). Five years ago I topped the scales at 386 and have been working diligently (w/ some breaks) at losing the weight. I just want a normal BMI and that would be 174.8 for me. I've been eating clean and working out for a while now so if anyone has questions I am more than willing to give whatever advice I can ;) I'm excited for thischallenge

    I actually just started back on he losing weight train and of course it's the week I am due for my period so, I am a couple pounds heavier. I've been doing really well with the working out and watching calories so far though. My problem is I'm a snacker.

    I've been trying to get my weight under control since I had my kids. I hope that I will stay disciplined and on plan this time. I would like to start to get healthy for myself and my family. I'm looking forward to being held accountable every week!

    wow Becky you have done so well so far! I'm at a plateau and have been for about a year (fluctuating in the 140s) and am always looking for new workouts and foods that others like if you have anything to share!

    I dropped about 20lbs for my wedding... and I have put a lot of it back on! My weight number is a little funky (and high) because I've been retaining water like crazy lately... but for honesty's sake... thats what it said on the scale this morning.

  • Im in! I dont know if you would be interested in starting a diet bet? There is another website called dietbet.com where you can get a whole bunch of friends or something like this to help lose the weight. Just a thought if you were interested. I would totally join in if you started it.

    i want to lose 40 pounds so bad but i know i cant do that in 2 months lol, My problem is i don't eat enough. For some reason I've never really ate that much unless i was preg, I've had two boys & that were i got my pounds. I want to be 130 back to were i was before my sons. lol

    im in :) i previously lost 20lbs with weight watchers, i got down to 152 for my wedding in march, and since then i have gained 12lbs back! i have started the body by vi 90 day challenge along with myfitness pal....i hope that this helps me get back down to my previous weight!
