I want to lose 30 lbs by my 30th Birthday!!!

Hello;
I started back up yesterday. I would like to lose 30 lbs by January 23rd! I have a total of 65 to 70 lbs to lose but it is a great start. Anyone else who just started want to start a support group???? A weekly check in??? That would be great. Thanks,Michelle

    Slow and steady wins the race. It took me 8 months to lose 45, so don't get discouraged if it takes you longer than the short time frame you're working on. :wink: :smile:
  • Hi, I would like to join the support group if you are starting one. Its always easier to do things with help from others.

    i love 21 pounds in 2.5 months so good luck! be careful tho- crash diets are not good.

    wow, you are trying to lose 5 pounds a week? that is not the healthy way but good luck to you.

    I actually think I am trying to lose inches not pounds but if I set my goal high I will work harder and I am not setting myself up for failure because any progress is good progress. I would never crash diet. I set myself up with a plan that I wont starve. Besides I need to eat I have 5 kids that keep me on my toes. I need the energy. I think with the difference in how I was eating and how I am eating now is going to make alot of difference. Sugar cookies with buttercream frosting and pumpkin cookies with cream cheese icing THEN. Greek Yogurt and fruit and nuts and Dark chocolate NOW will make a world of difference and making sure I drink all my water instead of my diet pepsi. I will feel better about myself inside and out. So lets not look at it as 5 pounds a week.....good luck, live at learn. Besides 30 pounds in 54 days can be done but for me it is something I say when I get on the elliptical to motivate me!!!! I really just want energy and to be happy. Thanks for the support
