I am going to try on the dress I want and order it on Sunday. I was going to wait until January and I had hopefully lost a little weight, but I decided that I probably should make sure there is plenty of time to get it ordered and have the alterations done. I have lost around 10 pounds since I first tried on the dress, so I am hoping that I will fit in a smaller size. I still have about 20 pounds that I would like to lose, but I guess that is what alterations are for

    Hey ladies!
Sorry I've been MIA...the swine flu is definitely NOT something to mess around with. I'm currently dealing with the aftermass...bilateral ear infections & tonsilitis. Needless to say, I've been slacking on all areas (eating/exercise), but I'm looking forward to get back in it when I'm well again!

Btw- both of your dresses are just beautiful. So very very pretty!!!

I tried on and ordered my dress in a whole size smaller than when I first tried it on almost a year ago. It looked and felt really good to be able to do that. I still want to lose some weight, but I was happy with how I looked in my dress.

good for you Marilla! Its supposed to be pretty easy to take a dress in a little when you loose a bit, but it is really important to be happy as you are.
I am trying to get reservations at a state park (I live in California), but all the sites were booked up for June 8 hrs after they became available. I wasn't expecting that! I will have to be online the second they become available for July or else make an entirely new plan! I also just saw that the fee went up 50%! California parks are so messed up.
