For the first time since i was a teenager, i looked at the scale this morning, and the number was not over 200 LBS! It was 200 even. 4 months ago, i was over 270!
How i did it:
DIET
I stopped eating animal products of all types.
I stopped consuming oil.
No refined sugars.
I eat A LOT of fruit.
I eat A LOT of green leafy vegetables.
Mostly raw, plant based, whole foods.
(There were a few special occasions, like Easter, July 4th, Brother's college graduation, where i had foods i wouldn't normally eat. But i mostly eat like mentioned above)
EXERCISE
I started with walking and cycling. I have been riding a bike to and from work for over a year. Now i run, lift weights, walk, cycle, and generally just try to stay active. I don't exercise nearly as mush as i could. I attribute my weight loss mostly to my dietary change.

OK this is my attempt at showing pictures. I picked this one as "Before". It was 2009, during a trip to Kentucky, we stopped at the original KFC in Corbin, KY. Me with the Colonel.
And "After" but it's really more of a "During" This picture was taken a few weeks ago at about 202 LBS.
Here you go. : )0 -

I have to ask, because I am big guy myself, do you think you will have trouble keeping it off? I have heard the horror stories and would like to try what you did, but I don't want my weight to come back with a vengeance.0 -

AMAZING! It sounds like you're following the "eat to Live" program.... Good for you. the way you're eating is really the healthiest. I tried it and couldn't really stick to it. About ten years ago i lost over 100 lbs. by cutting out all carbs
(even fruit). not too healthy but then again being that overweight was a significant health risk!0 -
wow!! awesome, congrats!0
