NEED HELP! 1, Coming off juice-fasting; 2, Traveling!

Hi, MFP-ers!

I come to you all with a question, like usual!

So I've been on a fruit/vegetable juice fast for the last four days, and I'm hoping to do it for two weeks - the last time I did it, it was for seven days, and I loved it - but I was really bad in weening myself off. The day that I broke the fast, I just ate like steamed broccoli and raw vegetables. The next day started off good with like a salad, then I went to a chicken sandwich, and it all went downhill from there. I lost I think 13 pounds on the fast, and gained back 5 or so in the month after (also, I was not watching my eating at all or exercising... I know, bad me).

This time I'm going for 14 days, and want to really wean myself off.

The problem is: I'm going traveling in less than three weeks! Every summer I take a month off to backpack a bit somewhere, so I'll be in Greece/Italy/Spain/France/Holland/Czech Republic all of August. I would like to eat normal food in these places, albeit with a newfound sense of moderation (which I'm hoping will last). ...On the whole, I'm not terribly worried about it - last year, I sort of ate anything I felt like (guys, tapas in Barcelona are amazing, and I can't be held back) and I lost ten pounds over the month from walking like at least fifteen miles a day.

So I'm fasting pretty much until next Saturday, and then I have Sunday-Sunday to "ween" myself off of the fast before leaving. Do you think that those six or seven days will be enough to kind of re-set my metabolism to get used to normal food?

Further, how exactly should I take myself off the fast? I'm guessing the first two or three days I should stick to raw vegetables, then throw in a piece of fruit or two... when can I go back to, say, almonds? Chicken? Red meat? Can I be eating salads with some dressing? Just the whole coming-off-the-fast thing is throwing me for a whirl. Any suggestions and advice would be appreciated :)
