    I play the flute. I have since 3rd grade. Many, many years! lol!! I play in an orchestra and do specials at church.

    I used to compete in piano competions.
    I also was first chair in violin
    Xylophone, dual sticks in each hand (Marching band section leader)

    I have played the drums since Middle School. Now, I am teaching myself to play the piano...at a very, very slow pace, lol... So, I guess that makes me a percussionist.

    Played clarinet in band. I later learned to play the lap dulcimer. Now I'm learning to play the banjo.
    My children each play 2 instruments a band instrument and a string instrument. I think it's so important.

    OMG I played Flute & piccolo too! From 8th grade to senior yr! Was even all state!

    Marched with: Bass clarinet, Alto sax, Xylophone, Tri-Tom, Timpani, snare
    Majored in concert piano until I fell and crushed all the bones in my wrist :o(

    was a music major keyword WAS couldn't handle 13 classes a semester... so trumpet and piano were my maine.. then flute, clarinet , sax, trombone, guitar (some) drums, french horn, and voice so yea pretty much have a mini music shop in my closet :P
