I know there are tons of posts on this, but I can't find them. Anyway, I'm thinking about doing the 30 day shred. Who has done it? and what where your thoughts on it? Is there also a special diet to follow, or just a work out?

I'm doing it now! I am on day 8. I have heard it's recommended to follow it like this:
2 days shred
1 day cardio
2 days shred
1 day cardio
rest day
And repeat
I'm sticking to 1200 calories per day, NET calories, so I actually eat more, but with all the exercise I have a net calorie intake of 1200.
So far I am a lot stronger! Started with 3 girly pushups, today I did 21 in a row. I'm going to move onto regular pushups soon!
Apparently with this workout the scale may not move a whole lot, but you will get smaller and more toned.
It's only 30 days. Stick with it, I don't see any reason why not! But it is a tough workout! It's quick and you work your butt off!0 -
Thanks for the info! I'm 100lbs over weight do you think I should try it now or wait til it's time for me to tone up?0

I love it. Just don't quit if you aren't doing it perfectly, you will be doing it fabulously in just a few days. Follow the schedule post above for your first go round and you should be fine.0

It's great! I use it and Tae Bo express 4 days a week. I lift weights the other three. I still have over 100 pounds to lose too.

I am going on my fourth day tomorow 7/13. I've done it 3 days in a row so far, and I feel really sore but not as sore as I felt after the 1st day of doing it.. I've heard several people have different views on it. Some say rest day in between or every two days, some say do it every day. I'm trying it every day since it does say after all 30 day shred. But you will hear different stories from several people. Do what you think is best and see if it works. I've seen some amazing result's from it.0

I say do it! It's great cardio, too, so it'll help you drop weight, probably. And there's no shame in doing it for longer than 30 days!0 -
I just did Level 1 Day 5...thought I was going to die on Day 1, but it is getting better...until I move to Level 2. lol0

I did it in January and at the time had a litle over 100 lbs to lose. I couldn't do a whole lot when I started but I kept at it nd after 30 days I had a weight loss of about 4 lbs but lost about 4" from my waist and around 7" from my hips. After the 30 days were up I moved on to alternating between Jillian Michaels Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and No More Trouble Zones.
I say go for it no matter how much you have to lose. As long as you give it your all you will see results.0
