I started this journey in March, and people what ask me 'what I wanted to be' so I'd say a 'normal/healthy' BMI, a size 12 on bottoms and a size 14 on tops. They said, 'oh don't be silly thats quite drastic..'
4 months on...
- I've gone from a BMI of 31 to a healthy 24.9 and I havent finished yet!
- Previously, I was in size 16 jeans, bursting at the thigh's. Now, all my current bottoms are size 12, 14s fall off me... infact one pair of 12s may be getting too big! My belt is a S/M whereas before I would pick up a L and it would be too small!
- Since I have breasts, its harder to fit into smaller tops (I went from a 38 to a 34/32 though!) but I have gone from a size 18, sometimes even larger, to a size 16/14 in tops... I even have mediums as opposed to large!
It sounds so silly, but before I'd head to the back of the rail for the larger sizes, and now I know that I'm not that, and go for the middle. I even bought a skirt in a 12 and my mum thought it was too big! My previous tops I own are now miles too big and look so oversized on me! Its the things like that that mean more to me, the number on the scale, although proves my loss, just aids it. What makes me feel happiest is the clothes in which I'm wearing.
I vividly remember a conversation with a family friend and my mother and them saying that size 12s and 14s were unattainable... well there you go, I did it.... you can too!

You must be on cloud nine, never let anyone tell you what you arent capable of, just because they have no ambition doesn't mean your the same, now please, treat yourself to some nice new clothes and accidentally leave the tags on while you go visit and watch their face when you ask them to cut the tags off for you
