Door Gym/Pull Up Bar

Im scared of my pullup bar! I have that simple one that hangs on the door frame, but im terrified ill break it down.. Please someone tell me I'm dumb and that the frame will hold my weight...

    I'm 240+, and have used my bar when I was much heavier. The bar won't fall. I did permenantly damage my door frames tho, even with foam handles and extra cardboard wedged in there.

    You'll be fine.

    And what? Is your door frame built over a bottomless chasm? Or maybe your carpet is on fire? Perhaps an alligator pit? You're only 2-3 feet of the ground. Falling won't kill you. I promise.
