According to the scale anyway. I lift heavy three times a week and with the weights I work at, my results are completely masked by glycogen and water retention. Do I care? Not really. I can see in the mirror every morning that what I'm doing is working.

My friend I haven't lost but 5 or 6 pounds in 6 months but I was on a dedicated journey to abolish my fat with weights. At 278 pounds I wear a size 36 and XL shirts instead of 42's and XXL 8 months ago.

Using photoshop. Any program that can handle multiple layers should be able to do it; www.paint.net is a good free program with some of the basic functions of photoshop.

    Great job!

Agreed with the above poster who said body composition is more important than weight. As long as your body fat % is going down and your lean mass is going up, it's a win!

You have an absolutely wonderful attitude! You are so right that the scale really isn't important. You're looking wonderful.

awesome job! im doing the same thing right now, in fact i was kinda freaked out when i put on a fewlbs. but i can see the difference. thats all that matters, not the scale, and clothes that were tight two months ago are loose now!

Yup, been there. Rediscovering clothes that were too small is fun :D

A more accurate way to measure your progress would be to use a bodyfat measuring scale. The absolute accuracy is not good (meaning you should not rely on it for determining your actual level of bodyfat) but the relative accuracy should be (so you can compare measurements over time) and allow you to see if you are changing body composition without changing your weight.
