Women's One-A-Day Active Metabolism

Has anyone tried this and had any (good or bad) side effects?

I've ready reviews on it causing nausea, but in my experience, you must eat right before taking the pill.

    I can't take any one-a-day vitamins.... they all make me nauseous.

    They make me nauseous even if I eat right before. But usually it goes away within 20 minutes or so.

    I can't take any pills on an empty stomach or I feel sick, but I take them right after breakfast and I feel fine.

    I started taking them this morning with a protein shake and had no problem with nausea. I know if I didn't have that shake, though, it would have been bad...
  • If it makes you sick it's probably because it has a high iron content. The one I take has 100 percent which is hard on your stomach. I throw up if I take it in the morning so I wait until the end of the day.
  • It made me very nauseous, even if I ate something with it.

    I take it daily and never had any problems. Sometimes i take it with breakfast, after or before.

    Oh, Dr. Oz says it's best to take 1/2 pill in the morning and 1/2 pill in the evening

    That's what I take...but I usually always make sure I take it after I've just eaten! It does tend to make me nauseous if I don't eat, or if I work out right after I take it even if I've eaten!

    I took it religiously last year when I initially lost almost a hundred pounds because I have a horrid metabolism. And yes I am also one of them people that have to eat with it reguardless of when I take it or any pill for that matter. the only side effect aside from a little stomach upset is if I take it to late I have trouble sleeping.

    Coincidently I bought a box last night and just started them again today. So I'll updatre you if I notice anything else! :)

    Vitamins are great to help you get, well, vitamins. There is nothing that will help you lose weight in that vitamin though.

    They made me extremely gassy and very uncomfortable, so I stopped taking them.

    It is NOT a diet pill...it's a multivitamin that has green tea extract and caffeine in it but not a diet pill! It has as much caffeine as a 6oz cup of coffee...not like it's Vivarin or No Doz....and it could be the biotin in it causing digestive upset. I used to take this vitamin and took it with my breakfast and never had a problem...

    I take these daily, usually around morning snack time.

    I did take it once on an empty stomach so that may explain why my stomach didn't feel so well after. :)

    One thing you should all keep in mind is read the nutrition labels. Your body does not need more than 100% of anything. If most of the vitamins are over 100% for one pill, you should probably change the multivitamin. If you are getting over 100% you body cannot properly process all of it. You could develop health issues due to too much vitamins or possibly damage your kidneys. Along the same line, you should also drink plenty of water to make your kidneys' job easier.
    I know this is not exactly what you were asking for, but I figure any information regarding the topic might help.

    I take this as a daily multivitamin, I do not use it as a diet pill, I don't expect a pill to increase my metabolism. But the caffiene does give me a boost of energy in the morning. I haven't had any issues with nausea taking the pill either before or after breakfast.

    SO WHAT?? I know what's in it, but caffeine does not make it a diet pill. That's why it's called METABOLISM, so give a bit of energy. Which i need with 3 kids. I mainly take it as a vitamin just in case i don't get what i need from my food.

  • Certain brands of vitamins make me nauseous. Especially if taken without food. I went to a Reproductive specialist a few days ago and had to list any vitamins or supplements I was taking and she said not to take any vitamins. It's better to get the various nutrients straight from the food source itself rather than just taking "stuff", as she called vitamins.
