Where can you buy Shirataki noodles?

Ive been on low carb for a week. Ive just kept it simple by sticking to meat, cheese, eggs, and atkins snacks. I too could benefit from some recipes.

There are so many awesome low-carb foods you can eat. What kind of food do you like? I have ideas for low carb tacos, burgers, pasta, ice cream, desserts.

I REALLY recommend checking out the youtube channel of this guy: bowulf He lost TONS of weight on Atkins, was featured in magazines, published a book, and is a marathon runner. His channel is dedicated to low carb diet recipies and everything I have made from his site has been delish! Honey mustard chicken, bacon cheddar burgers, 7 layer salad(my favorite salad to this day!), low carb pizza, SOS, waffles, PB cookies, ect ect

    Ingredients
1 medium spaghetti squash (about 3 pounds), halved lengthwise
    Coarse salt and ground pepper
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, plus lemon wedges for serving
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, roughly chopped
    Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Season squash with salt and pepper. Place cut side down in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Add 3/4 cup water and roast until tender when pierced with a knife, about 45 minutes. Let cool.
Meanwhile, on a rimmed baking sheet, toss shrimp with 1 teaspoon oil; season with salt and pepper. Roast until cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes.
Scoop out seeds from squash and discard. With a fork, scrape flesh into a large bowl. Add shrimp and any cooking juices, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon oil; toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper, top with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

atkins snacks (batrs and shakes) are crap, you really should avoid them.

    to OP:
    google 'low carb recipes'
you will get tons of results!

i personally stick to grilled protein and sauteed veggies mainly. lots of salads

my favorite thing to eat is low carb chicken parm

    bake off a spaghetti squash.
dip chicken breast in egg wash and almond flour.
cook (i fry mine in coconut oil)
serve with red sauce, cheese and spag squash.

another is cream of zucchini and broccoli soup

cook an onion with some butter (or bacon fat)
add in zucchini and broc stems
add chicken stock. when its mostly cooked add broccoli/cauli if you want.
add cream. don't overcook the broc!

those are 2 pretty easy super quick ones and if you have the spag squash all prepared they are very quick.

I have been drinking the shakes for a month now- religiously. Actually picked up 3 packs of them the other day, then got half way around the store and put them down. They aren't the greatest- and they AREN'T cheap... trying other sources of low carb now!
