I couldn't pull off saying "wicked pissah" with my cajun accent. But, I might could get a high-five if I said it while sitting atop the green "monstah."

The free beer? I'm still searching...I've heard rumors.

Why does the Expressions you hate thread have 150 replies and this thread only 2 replies?? Here are some of my favourites:

I say Homer Simpson's "D-oh!" quite often whenever I make a dumb mistake. (Oh well, at least it's safe for work.)

Clusterf**** and Gong Show are two funny terms to describe any group activity gone horribly awry.

"Blether" is both a verb and a noun. It means "to stand around and talk about nothing in particular for hours on end".

Sook (rhymes with book) can mean either a whiny, infantile adult or an affection-craving pet or small child. I much prefer the second variety of sook.

I can't say I love it because my dad has said it a million times in the past, but I like the meaning. "You catch more bees with honey than vinegar."

I'm a big fan of wicked pissah too! Or wicked anything for that matter! Like Pete's Wicked Ale, for example :drinker:

I also was get a kick out of "*kitten* eating grin" ...why on earth anyone eating *kitten* would be grinning is beyond me, but it's fun to say.

Love "You Betcha" that's been a little tag line between me & my man for quite some time : )

Yeah I live in Boston but I'm from Southie lol. No one is actually from "Boston" you're from a neighborhood in Boston. People who say they from Boston are actually from the Burbs lol fun fact. It's like no one is from NYC I guess you're from harlem or...wherever...IDK NYC very well but I assume locals actually from the city don't just say "NYC"

I just love to use it to describe things! I find it the perfect way to do so.

I see you're from New York. Lol let's not talk baseball...it's too painful

I love nonsensical expressions like "the cat's pajamas" or "the bee's knees".

The "buttload" is my favourite unit of measure. "Crapulence" is my latest favourite term to throw at hot-mess friends. "Hot mess" is a pretty good one itself, when appropriate (and not used incessantly).

I also have an affinity for the word "sh--" as in: "sh-- bricks" or "what the sh--?!" ..it's just funny.

I'm well known for saying "I will punch you in the face" about twenty times a day. (I never follow through. :grumble: )
