    I dont do passive aggressive. I am either happy which is most of the time or i will tell you exactly how it is going to be.(my avi is my happy face. lol) And if I am actually angry, my wife says I have a look, a stare so to speak that actually takes over my face and it darkens. She has seen it twice in 18 years and she said it actually scared her.(it wasnt directed at her) I keep that in the box and only bring it out when I intend to, well we wont go there.

    Also, I'll do the long, loud sigh. Then he'll be like "what's wrong" and I'm all, "Nothing." (Which REALLY means, "if you don't know, I'm not telling you.") I'm so mature ;-)

    :laugh: :laugh: I do the same thing! I never realise I've rolled my eyes until my partner tells me off for it lol. And the sigh. Says so much.

    I look blankly right at them and say nothing. IF I say what I really think it will just enrage the other person and make the situation even worse.

    According to my wife:
    1: I take a half step back. always with the right foot.

    2: I will bring my hands up to about chest level and rub my palms together (that one is actually intentional. It keeps my hands in front of me but is non-confrontational)

    3: My voice will drop a bit.

    4: All of my joking and smiling vanishes and I speak very bluntly ("You should really consider just walking away right about now")

    She has seen me do this a total of five times in our thirteen years of marriage. Never to her. When i am irritated with her, I just give her a 'Whatever" and then I go out and buy something I don't need like a new Surfboard or car speakers.

    I get real quiet, then turn and walk away. But.... God help you if you keep yapping at me or follow me. Someone will get seriously hurt. Give me a half an hour and I am ok and willing to talk about it.

    I get a look. I'm not sure what it is. People that know me know it. People that don't will say.. "Are you okay? you look like youre gonna kill someone".
