Fed Up - I'll do it myself!

Our local YMCA has got me soo pissed I'm going to see what I can do to fix the problem myself.

A while back they offered Zumba at a great time that worked for a lot of people, the class was packed.

Then the instructor moved away....then they didn't have Zumba for a while, they actually didn't have any "aerobics" type classes.....

Now they've hyped it up "Zumba's coming back!" So I was all excited, and ready to go again....

Problem: The class starts really late in the evening....what am I supposed to do for 2.5 hours after work, I live out in the country, and I wouldn't have a sitter, the Y doesn't offer babysitting. Frustrating!

So, I'll fix it myself, what does it take to become a Zumba instructor? Is it really that difficult? Anyone out there care to share their experience? This obviously shows how much I like Zumba, they are struggling to find instructors anyway.... I'll do it. I don't really care if I get paid, just do it at a time that works for more people.

DUH dumb@sses!

Rant over.

it's pretty easy, you just have to find a zumba certification. if you're good at it already, go for it! :-) there are also videos.

Im in the same boat. There is no point in driving home and then coming back but what a waste of 2 hours killing time till class... one of the downfalls of country life...

Wow I really am on a blacklist. I've peeved somebody off :grumble: lol

From what Ive read in different threads I thought there were a few people who have done this or are instructors (of whatever class etc) already.
