Tax accountant...I have a decent length walk from my car to the train and the train to work so I factor those in. I take the stairs to the 5th floor instead of the elevator so I factor that in. Other than that, I only factor in purposeful exercising (DVD workout, gym, lunchtime walks), not my running around with the puppy, running around the office, etc.0

I had a wellness coach at one point and he told me that the day to day activities that we do do not count because our bodies become accustomed to those. My day to day activities wouldn't do much anyway because I sit at a desk all day. I was much thinner 30 years ago before I started this job. Before that I was home chasing my kids. :flowerforyou:0

Awww, thanks. It's very challenging. 98% of my students are on free/reduced lunch. I wear many different hats and become a substitute mom for many kids. Makes it all worth it when they come back to visit once they've hit high school or have graduated and tell me how much they loved second grade!0 -

I work in a rehabilitation department as a certified occupational therapy assistant. I am on my feet most of the day and walk a lot. I don't log it into my exercise, because I haven't figured out how to really do it appropriately. I just think of it as a bonus. I still work out for at least 60 minutes 6xs/wk.0
