  • I have a son aged 12 and I am a care assistant. Even though I`m busy on my feet and pushing hoists/ loads etc, I still crave sugar. So instead of eating, I drink herbal tea with a sweetener.

I work in a hospital as a registration clerk. Very minimal activity. However I do a lot of walking on my lunch break and I also do some leg exercises while at my desk to help also.

I'm a baker... My bakery is 2 stories though, and I work in the basement so I have to constantly go up the stairs with heavy trays, boxes, etc! And since I've started eating better, if I have to taste something I make, I put a tiny little bit in my mouth then spit it out, to not waste my calories!

Welder, machinest, and engraver and am constantly moving. But don't add anything for that. Figure if I just add in outside of work (gym, cleaning, etc.) I will be in a pretty good deficit already.

  • I am a Program Assistant at C.S.P. That stands for Community Support Program. I'm at the desk mostly, but I also run movie group on Thursdays. Right now I'm also doing walking group for a while well at least until August. That's on Tuesdays. We have not been doing walking group lately cause it's been too hot. Maybe next week hopefully cause that gives me exercise. I also use a whachacallit to track my steps.

LOL l direct a LARGE before and after school program (175+ kids - K-5th grade) I'm running around for sure all day - our campus is quite large and our space is pretty spread out. I got a FITBIT tracker last month.... and I love it! Easily log 20,000 + steps daily when at work.... I'm off this summer (first time in 40+ years) and I find that I'm not active enough... so I'm going for more walks, hitting the gym in the complex an extra time and going up and down the stairs to meet my goals.. Definitely work is a HUGE factor in our activity...your doing great and the 18th month old will help you make your goal!
