How much smoked salmon goes into a sandwich?....

Hi,
So im counting calleries...
I dont have scales atm so how am i s'posed to know how much smoked salmon i have put into my sandwich (etc)?? How much is 100g?? I have no consept of this! Same goes for everything, lettuce, onions... everything!! My calleries cant possibly be accurate as i don't know how much of anything im using, im just making random guesses!! Does anyone have a way for measuring or judging the weights that might be abit more accurate??

I think you will have to get a scale....there's no way to accurately figure this out without one. The weight of individual food items will vary depending on how thick you slice things etc, so one person's food weight measurements might not be the same for you.

You can get a simple gram scale on Ebay for under $8 including shipping:

Major ball ache!!! Is there a website which does general measurements/weights. I want a general idea at least. i've googled it but nothing of help has come up
