9 years later

I just spent minutes slaving over a hot MS paint to make this before and after image for another thread, so I figured I'd post it here too.

When I was 16, my highest recorded weight was about 330. I don't know what my actual peak was, because I very seldom weighed myself, but it was up there. One day I ate so much that I felt sick and it hit me all of a sudden that my lifestyle didn't make any sense. I put myself on a drastic diet that was probably not particularly healthy, but I didn't know any better. There wasn't much I could do in terms of exercise, so I just let my metabolism do the work for me. Within the first year I lost almost 100 lbs. Then I started working out more and by the end of the second year I was down to 180 and probably about as athletic as your average 18-year-old, which obviously means that I'd come a long way.

I'm 25 now and I'm probably in the best shape I've been in yet. It hasn't always been easy to keep the weight from coming back, but it's certainly been worth it.
