    4) Graceland -- Paul Simon
    5) Yes -- The Pet Shop Boys / Pop -- Erasure (Yes, I cheated and fit in 6.)

    No particular order:

    1) Kings of Leon - Only By the Night (everyone thought this was the album where they sold out, but I thought it was where they pulled their sound together nice and tight. And realistically, I'd list all their albums)

    4) Beastie Boys - License to Ill

    5) Def Leppard - Hysteria

Impossible task for me. Here's whats in my playlist currently:

    Lush - Gala
Queens of the Stone Age - Songs For the Deaf
    Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger
Bad Brains - Rock for Light
  • For an audiophile like myself this is soooooooooooo hard....

    No particular order.

    1. The story is in the soil...-Bright eyes (I can not listen to it for years, but when I do I always get something new from it and it's created much inspiration in my own art)

    2. Unplugged- Nirvana (my go-to sad album. Much inspiration from this one as well)

    3. L'avventura- Dean and Britta (I can never tire of it. It's dreamy, atmospheric and the lyrics are fantastic. Reminds me of New York).

    4. Leaves in the River- Sea Wolf (Just all-around favorite, pure poetry and amazing composition. So many good memories)

    5. Little Earthquakes- Tori Amos (the album of my teens/early twenties. Still know every word and it's always been a go-to singing catharsis album, it never fails to make me feel purged and cleaned)

    6. A cross between Franz Ferdinand's 1st album and Interpol's 1st album both for the same reason: Sexy as hell and my favorite make-out music. I HAD to include them =]
