I used to do this with my husband...if I worked out 4 or more times a week he would get me a treat of some sort. Now that I am exercising 6 days a week and a lot more focused on the weight loss aspect of this (when we first started that game I was 35 pounds lighter) you've motivated me to make a new and improved chart like yours! Thanks for the inspiration...I've already reached the 250 mark!

This is actually a really good idea! I love the idea of a reward system, but most of them are like "put a dollar in a bottle every time you workout" and for someone on a limited budget, that just doesn't work well for me. I work out 5-6 days a week regularly, so that's at least $20 a month which is like a week of groceries for me. This is a great idea though, I might give it a try. My eating habits especially have been hard to keep up recently.

For those of you who are hesitating because of the price the rewards could represents, you could decide on treats that doesn't cost too much.

I have different ideas for you, free or not, if you'd like. Ironically, I have a hard time finding treats for myself!

    - girl pyjama party with my best friends
    - girl's night out
    - guy's night out
    - spending a complete day for yourself (ask the husband to offer you this treat by taking the kids away for the day) to take a relaxing bath, read a book on the terrace of a café, etc.
    - having a professional come and clean your house for a day
    - romantic evening with only the husband
    - Manucure, pedicure, any beautician treatment
    - massage
    - massage by your husband
    - clothes
    - that DVD you wanted
    - that CD you wanted
    - that videogame you wanted
    - a car ride to a beautiful country place
    - a cooking lesson
    - a day at the spa

    :)
