Extreme exercise day - do you eat back the calories

    That 3 hour nap definitely happened! It was completely involuntary!

    I eat most of mine back. Depending on how much I burned, I typically go 100-200 calories under just in case I overestimated a burn amount somewhere.

    Thanks everyone - this is great advice.

    (Also, for those of you were saying MFP overestimates calorie burn, I wholly agree - that's why I work with a heart rate monitor. Highly recommended.)
  • I try to eat as much as I can on those extreme exercise days. However, when you burn mad calories, it can be hard to eat them all back. I usually eat them the next day when I am ravaged:)
