Give me your best (healthy) crock pot recipies! (Please!). I love my crock pot and need to go food shopping tonight... I ususally make a big thing, and freeze it since im a one person family...
Found this this morning; Looks delicious!

Crock Pot Pizza
.75 lb ground beef, cooked
.75 lb bulk Italian sausage, cooked
1-15 ounce jar pizza sauce
3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
3 cups fresh spinach
16 slices pepperoni
Toppings(optional. Add your faves)
I used (* = accounted for in nutritional information):
1 cup olives, sliced*
1 cup mushrooms, sliced*
1/2 green pepper, chopped*
1/2 cup sweet onion, chopped*
1/4 cup marinated artichoke hearts, chopped
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced*
In a 6 quart crock pot, combine sausage and hamburger with sauce and onions. Place half of sauce mixture in crock pot. Place half of fresh spinach on top of sauce mixture. Place pepperoni and 1/2 desired toppings on top. Place half of mozzarella cheese on top of pepperoni. Repeat layers ending with mozzarella. Cook on low 4-6 hours. Let cool slightly and cut into 8 slices. Refrigerate remaining.
Makes 8 ginormous slices.
Nutritional Information Per Serving: Calories: 487, Carbohydrates: 7.6g, Fiber: 2, Net Carbohydrates: 5.6g, Protein: 30g, Fat: 37g
Of course you can alter all that ^^^ with fat free cheeses, ground turkey... so forth

This looks really good! Thanks! I unfortunately do not have much crockpotting experience - so I'm of no help with providing any good recipes. But I'd love to see what others post!0

Try the website Skinny Taste - she has several delicious crock pot recipes.
My standard is chicken breast, black beans, corn, and salsa.0 -
Simple and tasty:
Take 4-6 beets. Was them. Put them in crockpot on low overnight. Turn off in morning. Put in fridge.
By night you have absolutely lovely translucent pearls of beets that can be peeled and put on the table as is. My kids' favorite recipe.
It works for potatoes and yams too.0 -

I love my crockpot!! My current favorite crockpot website is Crockpot365. My favorite so far is the Ethiopian Chicken Stew, which has great protein:
Ethiopian Chicken Stew (Doro Wat)
Serves: 6
Ingredients
Hunts - Petite Diced Tomatoes, 1 container (1 4/5 cups ea.)
Lemon juice - Raw, 0.25 cup
Butter - Salted, 2 tbsp
Onions - Raw, 3 medium (2-1/2" dia)
Spices - Ginger, ground, 1 tsp
Spices - Paprika, 1 tbsp
Spices - Turmeric, ground, 1tsp
Foster Farms - Chicken Thighs, 16 oz
Some water (I think it's 2 cups)
Top with after serving:
naturally nested - large eggs, 6 egg boiled
Per Serving: 233 cal 12 carbs 20 fat 20 protein 315 sodium 3 fiber
There is also an amazing Baked Bean Soup, some really good Chili recipes, and tons more. Darn, now I'm hungry and it's not even close to lunch time!0 -
