I eat a whole avocado 2 sometimes 3 days out of the week.
Is this alright?
after I workout I'm usually craving avocados, eggs and such so I get some pepper, crack open an avocado and eat it like it's ice cream with some hard boiled egg whites.
Is that ok? I'm just maintaing my weight, not looking to lose or anything

I do...usually 3 times a week, I struggle to get up to my calorie total otherwise.0

Serious note: Please don't think you have to exclude a certain type of food from your diet to lose weight or be healthy. Avocados have mono-unsaturated fatty acids much like olive oil, it's a good heart-healthy kind of fat. Avocados are amazing in many ways. As long as it's fitting within your calorie goals/macros you've set for yourself, any food should be "OK" and won't hinder your weight loss. Cheers! :drinker:0 -

I actually have to hide the avocados in my fridge because we all fight over them. We only have them in the summer in chicago so..
I have to enjoy the wonderful magical awesomeness as much as I can!0 -

I eat avocado 4 or 5 times a week & I haven't had a problem with losing weight. It also helps to keep me regular b/c of all the fiber in it.0

I am an avaocado *kitten*. Yeah, I said it! (actually tomatoes too). Just this past weekend I ate almost a whole Florida avocado - I turned it into avocado, mango and basil salsa. If you know what they look like they are huge. Although Haas are my favorite, the Florida ones will do nicely (and they are cheaper). Avo is a fantastic food, eat and enjoy!0

Perfectly ok. Avocado is high in good fat. It's excellent for your hair, skin, and nails because it contains essential oils. I think you will be fine.0
