Mrs Jackson- You rock! Keep up the good work!!!!!

 Wahhhhh! :) Hello all! Sorry to have been MIA, just been very busy with a new workout schedule, new teaching schedule at a new studio, and still interviewing with Lululemon! :)

I have been going strong though, on day 10 of my Meta-Rev program and so far loving it! I also did hot yoga yesterday for the first time in close to two years and wow, it felt great! :) I absolutely love the people at my new studio and already am part of the "core" group that is so friendly, peaceful, loving and kind! The great thing is that my husband loves them too! :D We are going to start joining them on Saturdays. First, I will teach class at 10:30 and then we will go hike a mountain and then we come back to eat! :D This is a great group of people and I'm very excited about it! :D

Anyway, tomorrow is my interview with Lululemon for a different position than I had originally gone up for. While it sounded all great based off the job description, once I got there, the job description was very different. It wasn't what I was looking for, and I don't think I was what they were looking for that particular role. However, the current regional manager is interested in me for a new store opening and being part of that, so I will be meeting with three people flying in from Canada tomorrow at 2! I just hope that they can work around my new yoga teaching schedule and also pay me well as the job is PRETTY far from my house. Not far, but as far as you can possibly get on the hwy. Again, if the money is right, I'll take it! :D

So, forgive me if I'm not on for a few days. Between teaching, working out, taking classes at the studio, getting ready for interviews and doing regular house stuff! I'm swamped this weekend. But know I wish you all well and I can't wait for results! :D I will say that I already feel like a winner though because I am fit, active and happy! Also, during hot yoga yesterday I KILLED IT which is amazing being I was kinda scared to go back into a 115 degree room with 40 % humidity! LOL But I did it!

Love to you all!!!!! Keep up the amazing work!!! I will be on and off when I can! Oh and YES, I'm trakcing all my food/workouts!!!!

KimWins999-I wish you all best and hope everything works out for you. You are a very, very busy lady, but I admire you that your still working out & taking care of yourself.

I hope everyone is doing well & doing great on their workouts and nutrition. I have finished day 8 workout and I'm beat. I burned 598 calories doing cardio 1. Those suicides was killing me. I'm a day behind because I did not workout this pass saturday, I was celebrating my granddaughters 4th birthday, but I will make that day up.

    Have a great evening everyone!!

    Good job all!
Kimwins999---I hope you get the job you want.
mrsjackson---how often are you gonna be doing weigh-ins and/or measurements during the body revolution? I can't wait to see your results. I agree with you about the suicides! Although I think I hate the running mans more now. I realized I was doing them wrong so they were easier. I wasn't alternating my hands opposite of my legs. Much harder that way! Anyway, I did cardio 1 again last night. Today will be my last day of workout 1 and tomorrow will be my last day of workout 2! I will start workouts 3 and 4 next week. I'm scared and excited at the same time. Hopefully they're not too much harder.
    Keep working hard!
Oh--mrsjackson--are you following the meal plan with body revolution? I was just wondering because I have not been following her exact schedule but I have been mixing and matching the recipes and find I am having a hard time getting to 1200 calories doing that so I have been having two of her snacks per day instead of one. It puts me over a little bit (less than 100) but I figure from what I read on here it is better to be a little over 1200 than go under it. What do you think?

Hey guys! Just letting you know that I think my interview went great. I am about 90% sure, maybe more, that this position is mine. Honestly, i just hope it pays well! LOL I would have to drive pretty far and possibly give up my teaching position with my studio, which is a serious love. It's also only a 6 month contract as it's a "pop up" store and while that does give me work through January and the busy time of the year and in with the company, I'm just kind of in the air about it :D SO- we shall see.

    I WILL SAY THIS:
While I am always a believer in faith and positive attitude I had a RESURGENCE of positive energy two nights ago (the night before my interview). First with a meditation, then confirmed with a crazy dream about rebirth and new beginnings and then with a great note from my husband left the morning of my interview that basically stated EVERYTHING from the meditation/awakening and my dream. It was really crazy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE when energy lines up that way.

I guess what I am saying is this. I am not worried about whether I get this position or a different position or I find something closer to my house, or perhaps I just build a huge client base at the studio and I work more. What I DO KNOW is that there is a plan already in motion and I am happy to allow it to be!

WEIGHT! Oh man! I feel like my weight has not been great, or as great as I want it to be. I will admit though, I have been eating too late (due to adding in the new hot yoga workout at night- man you burn 600 calories and you are HUNGRY! LOL) although, I am feeling lean! I am feeling strong! i am feeling blessed!

The other day in class, when I was teaching and introduced myself to a student she said, "Oh man, I'm glad you are a teacher, because your legs are like... Wow. They are really amazing. I was starting to feel bad about myself!" She said this last part not seriously, more like a joke. Either way though, here's what to take away from that:

That even if when we ARE NOT SEEING THE SCALE MOVE or we are eating over calories (I did last night too and a few other days this month), that how we feel about ourselves are JUST THAT... how we feel. It does not mean we "look" the way we see ourselves to others... LOL That was a mouthful. Does that make sense? LOL

    Anyway. STRENGTH! HOT YOGA!

Holy crap! For those of you who know, I haven't done Bikram for about a year and a half. Long story short, the people were awful, I was harassed and got ripped off (I worked there and didn't get paid some 700 dollars), they were racist and well it just sucked! LOL However, on Tuesday I did my first class! It was great! It was not easy, but it wasn't as hard as i thought it would be. I balanced in all my postures, i didn't have to drink water and I didn't fall out of any postures! :D It was overall very good! And very energizing!

Then the class I took last night! WOW, it was really truly amazing! I recognized my strength in positions I had NEVER attempted, some I had never seen and well- I got a great compliment from the teacher! I guess why this is so pivotal, is because I forgot my strength. I forgot my flexibility... I forgot my determination. I forgot what it was like to be told to do something, to have to active listen and then make your body do it.. in heat! LOL

Sure, i workout all the time and I love to push myself, but this teacher, was really amazing! So amazing that I will be going to his class tonight, Sunday, Monday and Thursday! :D I really feel like I could learn new yoga from him. Which back to the beginning of this long post (Sorrrrrry- I feel the need to get out all my exciting energy! LOL), is something I have been hoping for and wanting for about 2 years. It's not that I am the best at yoga, hardly, and it's not that i'm a beginner. But I am somewhere in the middle and would like a teacher to challenge me and to work with me in new postures.... and I can happily say that I have found it! :D

While I may not have had the weight loss I wanted (not sure yet), I do know I have toned up, can't wait to do my measurements (I know lost weight) and most importantly, haven't missed a day of my logins or me Meta Rev! Looking forward to August!

I'm also VERY excited to start Meta 11-20 today! OH MAN! I am prepared to be sore! I will say though, the switching ten days is genius! While it never got EASY EASY, it was much easier to the point that even the amount of calories I burned went down. SOOOO looking forward to the next 80 days !!!!

    HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!

    Hi everyone!

Kim - I love your post above! It is so true how we shouldn't rely so heavily on what the scale says.

I had to really convince myself of that. I had been feeling like I wasn't getting the results I wanted because the scale wasn't showing me losing any weight. But my clothes were definitely fitting more lose and my body was changing - for the better! I'm on meta hip level 2, day 8 as of today. I took a picture of myself over the weekend and WOW, I could really see the difference in my body from when I first started Meta Hip. I'm so pleased with my results so far!!! And that was taken only 15 days into doing meta hip.

I didn't know how to upload pics here, so if you want to see it, you can click on my profile name and check out my image to the left. I feel good now and truly believe in Tracy's Metamorphosis program. Two more days of level 2, then it's on to level 3 for me!

Everyone have a great weekend! Sunday is my birthday and I don't have any plans yet! Arggg!!! Lol

 Wow, I did the Tanderson workout and OUCH! LOL It hurts my standing leg more than anything! LOL But that is good! LOVE IT!

Off topic from my meta rev plan I wanted to throw this out there for anybody interested:

 Since I consider MFP my workout family I wanted to put it out there that I have finally decided to part ways with my Turbo Jam set! I have used it, but not for a few years. Meanwhile, they have been sitting in storage, in their cases, untouched!

I am one of those people who likes to hold on to things... You know, the just in case mentality! LOL However, I am so into Turbo Fire at this point that I don't ever see myself going back to these and well- if somebody else can lose weight, get toned and gain confidence with them, than that is what I want! :D

I usually sell all of my stuff on ebay, and I am watching a set just like this one (they have one more added ball workout- which FYI I sold on ebay a week after I got it because it was horrible) that is going for about $95 plus shipping. I looked on Amazon and found this similar package. They are asking 125 with free shipping. However, I am adding in THREE ADDITIONAL WORKOUTS AND A BRAND NEW TUBE RESISTANCE BAND WITH HANDLES! THE ORIGINAL TURBO JAM BOOK AND 10 DAY KICK START PROGRAM WILL COME WITH TOO!

    http://www.amazon.com/Rockin-Workouts-Blaster-Totally-Tubular/dp/B005HE4TPQ/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1343422537&sr=8-16&keywords=turbo+jam+set

So, I'm just throwing it out there, I think I can fit everything in a Medium Flat Rate box- so the shipping would only be $11.50

I am set up through paypal, so if you are interested in getting fit or getting into these awesome workouts, but need a good place to start, this is SO the set! It's slower than Turbo Fire, and man, when you are finished you will be ready for Turbo Fire or any other Beachbody workout!

In this set, not only does it come with the original dvds, but this is considered the "fat burning," "advanced" set.

So, I think I'll let it go for $100 as I know I can get that much or probably more on ebay. If you are interested PM me and we can set it up! :D Oh and I have the calendar, and three different schedules to use with this as well depending on your level! :D

I have a trusted ebay selling account that you can view if you are worried about shipping or whatever, but really- if you decide to purchase this I want you to use it! LOL I want it to a good home!

    HAVE A GREAT DAY!

    Hi all,
Weighed in last night and I'm down another 2.4 lbs for the week for a total of 7.8 lbs lost plus another half inch off my waist and hips. Has anyone started workouts 3 and 4 yet? I did workout 3 for the first time yesterday and damn some of it was hard! I think I was so used to doing workouts 1 and 2 that they were becoming almost easy. Of course there are still ways I can modify them to make them harder, and I will if I decide to do another round. I felt like an absolute loser trying to do the plank to crescent position or whatever that thing is in workout 3. I cannot swing my foot far enough under me to get into the pose correctly. If anyone knows what I'm talking about can you give me some advice on how to complete the move? I guess maybe I'll get it eventually. Anyway, I hope everybody's workouts are going awesome and the lbs are melting away. Cheers! :drinker:

Hi Everyone, Sorry I've been MIA. I have given up on the body revolution for now. My knees have really been bothering me for last 5 days. My husband has massage and rub alcohol on them every night. I think Jillian maybe to hard for me right now especially on the knee error and being on the floor.

So for right now, I'm gonna continue working out the rest of the 90 days but on my own. I'm gonna do walking, zumba and take some of the strength exercises with the weights from body revolution. I did walk for 10 minutes this morning and one of my knees was very tight, but I got through it. I'm very heavy in the butt & thighs & I think that weight is putting a lot of pressure on the knee error. I'm gonna put Jillian aside for right now. I'm hoping I can lose at least 30 lbs to see if that excess weight off will help my knee.

I wish you all great success and this is not the last time you all will be hearing from me.

Hi guys! A new month, a new day, a full moon! How will you rock it out today? Me, I'm drinking my coconut oil coffee, about to do some cardio and then Tracy Anderson and then running through the class I'm teaching today :D

So, I just want to say that I'm feeling so good! While my weight has not moved a lot, I am feeling full of energy and well this month I'm bumping up the diet! IT's not that I have been eating badly, but my calories are all over the place. Either way under, or above a few days, or just well, all over! LOL Adding in teaching on top of this Meta Rev schedule has been tough, so if I'm hungry I eat. After all, what do you do if you burn 900-1200 calories?!?!? Sooooo, hopefully this month I will lose some weight! Looking to lose about 8 pounds! Being August is a long month, I am hoping for about 1.5-2 pounds a week! :D

 TUBWAY- I have done workout 3 and 4! Just this past Monday and Tuesday! I loved them They reminded me a lot of 30 Day Shred :D So far, so good with that! As a person in the fitness world, I will say that so far it's not difficult for me, it's just getting it done mentally! LOL I hear that towards the middle to end it's ROUGH! LOL But that's okay, that is why we are here right? To be come mentally and physically stronger! :D Oh and congrats on your weight loss! keep it up!!!! i have not lost many pounds, but I am down 4.5 inches all over my body so i'll take it!

:heart:JACKSON- BOOO! :( Sorry to hear about your knees! That is not good! Stay focused, working out and eating healthy and yes, keep posting in here! :D We will be cheering you on! I totally hear you on the bad knees. Did you ever read my "I was in a wheelchair for a year" thread? If you haven't, you can search for it and it will pop right up. I was and it sucked. Basically, I have no ANYTHING in my left knee. No cartilige, 3 tears in my meniscus, no ACL, no MCL etc. SOOOOO it can be done! Just don't get discourage! Here is the great thing to remember when trying to lose weight. If you have bad kneeds, it's imparatif you lose weight. For ever pound you lose, that's 5-7 pounds off your joints! So for even losing only 10 pounds that is 50-70 pounds off your joints! :D That is where I am right now. At 145, my knee is "there" and I can "feel" it and have to be careful. At 140 I only "feel" it now and then.... At 130, I can run on the beach! LOL My goal is to get to 115 and stay there! Sure, I want to look good and be healthy, but the main thing is that I need my knee to feel good! You can do it! :D Just do what feels good for you! For example, I can do Tfire, but Zumba is a bit hard on me with all the twisting! It's also about modifications. If your knees hurt NEVER try to do anything high impact. If you don't know how to modify them, take 10 bucks to a gym and have somebody show you how to do them! :D You can do it Jackson! :D Love to you!

    PoeticMoe
OMG! So glad that you are loving the TA! I gotta say, I haven't really lost much weight either! Was kinda bummed, but then I took measurements and yes, I'm donwn about 4 inches and that is only from the first 14 days! So yes, it's working! LOL I figured it would being that I teach many of those moves in various classes, but still it's nice to see! OOOOH and your pic looks sooooo good! :D

WoooO! Hi all! I hope you are still going strong! I am and am loving it! I can feel myself getting stronger with the tracy anderson moves and well, i've bee consistently sore, in a good way since teaching at the studio and doing these two workouts!

I'll be honest, the Jillian Michaels seems a bit easy and I'm wondering if I should skip ahead to the harder levels? I have already thrown her cardio out on Wednesdays to do Tfire and then on Saturdays sometimes sub in Insanity! LOL I just, i dunno, might be past that!

Anyway, the new job is great and the studio is great and wow, i'm still fitting in workouts! LOL

SOOOOOOOOOO- things are good and I'll write more when I have a chance!

    XOXOXO KIM
