Is there such thing as "easy" protein pancakes?

Do they have many carbs? I've had a serious craving. But need to keep it simple! Thanks!

My daughter makes them with cottage cheese, swears they taste like french toast. 24 oz cottage cheese (3 CUPS), 1/4 C WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, 1/4 C protein powder, 12 eggs, 1/4 cup oil, 1 tsp salt, cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla

Not sure how many it makes as she JUST gave me the recipe

    4-Ingredient Greek Yogurt Pancakes

    Ingredients:
    6 ounces of greek yogurt
    1 egg white
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 cup of flour

    Directions:
Mix the yogurt and egg white in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking soda. Combine all ingredients together and cook like you would regular pancakes. .

    Makes about 3 medium pancakes

You could prolly mix in some protein powder as well for added protein. Haven't tried it yet though.

I like the recipe from Southbeach Diet. You can google it, but I think it is as follows:

    1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese
    1/2 cup quick oats
    1 egg
    cinnamon
    splenda packet if desired
    sugar free syrup-topping

blend all indredients- put them on a griddle with cooking spray

    they actually really good!

Thanks for the feedback ! Way healthier . I had some "healthy" pancakes at bob Evans over the weekend , want to try to duplicate them, I'm on my way I think!

I hardly think one post is enough for you to judge my worth on these forums. I simply made a point that should you like to use the search function, you may come up with some valuable results (from people within the MFP community).

But no, you had to lash out and hurt my fragile ego. Now excuse me while I go and sob in the corner. :ohwell:

I've seen people simply mix protein powder with water and fry on a sprayed pain. Can't get much easier/protein packed.

I've tried these and they're really really good! If you don't have a carb limit, I use less than a 1/4 cup of sugar free syrup and I really love them. I've put a half cup of blueberries in them, you can use strawberries too..I figured it out that one recipe plain is approximately 315 calories and I got three really big pancakes...I added a little bit of water to make the batter less dense and I used white wheat flour...

I'm planning on adding a low sugar protein powder to the recipe next- as the recipe is, you get about 20 or so grams of protein! Which is pretty darned good..I mean if you threw in some fruit on the side then it's a pretty kick butt meal...
