    I've lost 35lb and 10%BF without worrying too much about carbs. I did adjust my macros a little to get more protein but otherwise? bring em' on!

    i do have the same problem..i mean m always according to my calorie goal at the end of the day that includes 165 g carbs, but i have not lost a single pound since i have started MFP:( (before 3 weeks)...don't know where m i wrong...?

    I lost 50 pounds in 2009 (and kept it off) without going low carb. Ate whatever I wanted, just counted the calories.

    I plateaued at 50 pounds lost so I decided to maintain for a while. I'm here now to lose the rest of what I need to. I tried low carb a few months ago and it worked well to lose weight but I never felt good. I was tired and hungry ALL OF THE TIME. I went back to a more reasonable diet and now and am stil having success, losing slower but I'm feeling a zillion times better and am much happier for it.

    Low carbs works really well for some folks, but it's definitely not for me.
