    Remember being a kid and hearing things like "If you eat watermellon seeds one will grow in your stomach!"

    What are some of the more memorable sayings you remember from your childhood?

      Weird as it might seem, there have been a few cases of peas (and probably other seeds) being accidentally being inhaled and taking root in a person's lung. Fer real.

      My parents loved it when they saw cops. They always liked to tell me if I didn't act right I was going to jail. I had a fear of getting locked up until the age of 12. :laugh:

      You could hear the sun sizzling when it fell past the horizon (lived in hawaii).
      You have to brush your hair everyday because after the third day it all falls out...

      If you look into the sun you can take your teeth out.

      I was so envious that my grandpa could take his teeth out. I tried very very hard for a very very long time (with no luck, might I add)! I still chuckle at the memory!
