Topamex - Weight Gain hard loss

I've recently gotten off topamex and I've gained like 7 pds... I've been trying to loose weight but it seems so hard now. Is there a reason for this? I'd like to hear others stories about the drug and suggestions. Thank you :-)

    Side effect of topamax is weight loss. It is FDA approved for treatment of obesity. Did you taper it?

    Topamax messed with my sense of taste so it was easier to avoid snacking. When I quit taking the drug, my taste came back & I remembered why I enjoyed snacking. And diet Mountain Dew. :-/
