There's only one generic selection available for "Martial Arts" under the Exercise tab for this site, and 60 minutes is 822 calories.
I'm new here. Is there a way to distinguish different martial arts workouts better?
A kung fu class is very different from kickboxing, especially if you're sparring, and even sparring has many levels. And rolling in jujitsu is different from those.

I agree I find it hard to believe thyat burn over 1000 cals doing 45 minutes of TKD> So I just adjust the time down. I count my 1 hr class as 45 minutes.0

Sounds like you have it right. I track our 45 minute TKD class as just 20 minutes. The calories seem about what I would expect when I cut it to about half.0

Looks like a consensus on HRM. Not sure I can wear one doing jujitsu. Any specific HRM product recommendations?0
