I was plateauing when I tore my MCL a week ago. I was trying to dip my caloric intake into the 1200s and 1300s to get the weight loss going again. But now I can't walk or drive around for a while. I can hobble around my apartment though. Need suggestions for how to adjust my nutrition!

CW-X Stabilyx Tights = Pain Free FINALLY!
So I finally got my CW-X Stabilyx compression tights in and I must say that they are EFFIN amazing! Today with them on it was as if I had never hurt my knee in the first place and could run for almost an…

Knee surgery while plus-sized
Two of my loved ones need knee surgery- my mother needs a double knee replacement and my sister needs surgery for her torn meniscus. They are both over 350 pounds. Good news!
I'm 6 months post-op, so my doc says I'm far enough along in my recovery to "push through" some of the swelling without it doing any damage. I've been kinda backing off when I start swelling, but he says to take an NSAID, ice it, then go for it....slowly of course. So, wish me luck! It's on.............again!

Hey guys, just wanted to spread the word - trying some new things that seem to be helping my knees. I have patella alta with a lateral patellar tilt.
