  • Track all of your calories accurately and eat in a surplus. If you are on the go and seem to find it hard to make time to eat then try to eat calorie dense foods at the times you can eat. Nuts are an easy way to get a lot of calories in at once for example. Cooking food with oils can help too. And make sure you're…
  • Are the foods you're eating changing? How are you getting your extra calories? What I mean by that is maybe if you're eating less filling foods then that could be your problem as opposed to the actual amount of calories. I know for me if I eat fried/greasy food I feel like I could eat all day long even though I've far…
  • Thanks! This is exactly what I was wanting to know :)
  • Feel free to add me. I have a 2 year old :)
  • Thank you
  • You would just have to do your best to pick the closest guesses in the database, but it will still be a guess. Overestimating things a little to make up for the possible unknowns is usually a good idea. I would individually add ingredients to my best guess and don't forget to add any oils or butter they may have used to…
  • It isn't super exciting, but I like to make apple sandwiches with almond butter. You just cut the apple in half and cut the core out and then spread almond butter between the two halves and sprinkle in some granola. Sooo good.

  • I'm pretty sure MFP has an option to select if you are breastfeeding to help This article may help go more in depth for what you are looking for though. Everyone's calories will vary depending on their height/weight and how much they are trying to lose so you'll want to adjust to your needs…
  • For some people it does lead to binging because they can't stop so this may not be what works best for you. I used to be that way, but lately prelogging and knowing I get a treat everyday doesn't leave me feeling the need for more. Its at least worth a shot ;)
  • You are so strong for wanting to take control of things and work towards your goals. I can't imagine the pain you have felt and it is admirable that you are ready to pull yourself out of your depression. Feel free to add me; I'm here if you ever need to talk. I've dealt with depression many times and I know how hard it can…
  • Are you maybe being too restrictive with yourself when you are losing? Do you allow yourself any sweets or cut them out completely? Sometimes when people cut off all sweets they tend to binge because of the cravings. If this sounds like you then try allowing yourself some sweets everyday and just work them into your…
  • Great job! Looks like our starting and goal weights are the same :)
  • As someone else suggested Skinnytaste.com has a ton of awesome recipes. And my advice is to take advantage of your crockpot. I also have a 2 year old (and I work almost the same shift as your husband 4pm-4am) and the crockpot is what works best for me. You can just throw some stuff in early on in the day and just wait for…
  • I'm a mother who works 3rd shift and doesn't use a babysitter. Of course it isn't ideal, but as for now it is really just how things in my life with my family and my income have to work without getting into more personal information. I don't do anything other than work and take care of my little one so there isn't really…

  • It may be easier for you to find some answers in this group :) Good luck! http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/637-gastric-bypass-vsg-lapband
  • That's a good idea. Thank you!
  • Yeah this one really stumped me. I don't think it had a servings per package listed either, but I will double check to make sure. I did go ahead and just weigh it with the bone to be safe, but was just curious if anyone happened to know for the future. I'm not very hungry today so it isn't really a big deal... If I was low…
  • I like roasting my veggies with some olive oil and then putting parmesan cheese on them. Fresh green beans are really good this way. Just put them in the oven at 400 and drizzle 1-2tsp of olive oil on them with some spices (I use garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper) and bake about 10 min, stir around, and bake another…

  • We have a 2010 Equinox and the engine has given us a shitload of problems. I would never have gotten it had I known what all we would go through with it. Also, I feel that the features are lacking. That may not be something that bothers you, but multiple friends of ours have similar vehicles and they offer more features-…
  • I'm 5'8" but I figured that might be close enough :) starting weight- 250 (not sure of current weight because I'm not weighing in until June 30th) GW- 150 Highest weight- 260 Lowest weight- 140 My exercise varies daily, but I usually walk/jog for 30min a day right now. I have been out of the gym for a couple months since…
  • Thanks everyone. I know overall I'm just going to have to guess, but I definitely want to be as accurate as I can so I'm not unknowingly undoing any progress. I've been craving it like crazy so I think I may grab some this weekend. Thanks for all the tips

  • I'm not, but I believe there are groups fully devoted to weight loss surgery on here that you can request to join that will probably be easier to target what you are looking for :) Here is one: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/637-gastric-bypass-vsg-lapband
  • Best of luck! You can do this. And congrats on your progress thus far!
  • You look great and I love your tattoos!
  • Just a guess but did you remember that there is 9 calories in a gram of fat as opposed to 4 like in protein? I'm just guessing this may have been the case since your number is about half as much as the MFP calculation and the calories in a gram of fat are about double of that in a gram of protein/carbs...
  • I figured out my correct macros and changed them from what MFP set, but I always have trouble hitting my fat personally. If you want to do some research on how to figure out your macros you can change them to something you think is a little more fitting. I know my automatic MFP ones were quite a bit different than they are…
  • Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I am going to take a little break from running for a while and get some new shoes and the foam roller. This all started a week and a half ago or so and I took a whole week off in attempt to heal, but that either wasn't enough or something else is wrong. The pain is definitely strong. I…
  • That does sound similar to what I feel, but also in the front on my shins as well. Its basically my entire lower leg and yes, my calves feel super tight and cramped up. I haven't noticed any problems with my ankles though. The pain is pretty bad though that its even hard to walk and for about an hour or so after (sometimes…
