yes..I am 170.2 lbs, down 30 lbs since Dec 21, 2014. Im happy with my progress, but 170.2 lbs is still overweight for a woman my height where I am 5' 3 1/2" tall.I gained weight through emotional eating and quitting cigarettes. Im glad I don't smoke anymore but now I have to work off the weight gain.as for emotional eating…

drink a lot of water. get a stronger motivation. don't give up if you slip up. think of it as a change in your diet for the rest of your life,not as a diet.

youre caloric intake of 1700 - 2000 is too high for you to maintain your weight.just don't eat over 1500 calories. btw, what your husband suggested is not true, bc the more you eat and go over your maintenance intake, the more you gain weight.

I do low carbs...eat only 100-150 grams of potatoes, rice, pasta, sugar, and white bread.

IMO,get rid of them.if you don't you'll have in your mind that you can or will go back to size 14 and xl.one oversized sweatshirt is okay to lounge in or work in or whatever,but a drawer full of 'fat' clothes should not be in your house.no judgement but that's possibly why you yoyo'd this last time.

8 to 10 pounds is too much to lose in a month,you'll go into starvation mode and you'll gain it back.1-2 lbs is a safe way to lose weight,and you'll keep it off.
