Dammit. Back to the tequila it is, then.

There is nothing wrong with skipping breakfast. Some of us do that deliberately, so our afternoon and evening meals/snacks can have more calories. Meal timing is also not important - what matters is calorie deficit. During the weekdays especially, I skip breakfast and then have a 500 calorie lunch. For the same calories, I…

Oh good, we can make this a "clean eating" thread! Clean eating is a useless term. It has no single, uniform definition. When pressed, many people think that "clean eating" means/includes no processed foods; this is not a helpful benchmark, as smoked salmon and cottage cheese are both processed, yet few people would…

Cottage cheese (I really do like it). 113g of the full-fat stuff, with a pinch of black pepper and a few diced kalamatta olives mixed in...

That is an unhealthy target for a 5'8" male. Yeah, you'll be light on your feet, but infinitely harder on your legs thanks to the lack of nourishment you'd need to get there putting you at increased risk for fractures. Go see a doctor. Might also want to discuss your health and weight goals so you can get an idea of a…

Do you have one that measures your heartrate constantly? What's your MFP calorie target?
-
Also, "healthy" is a relative term. I had a cheeseburger and fries for dinner last night; I had pizza for dinner tonight; my kids and I made chocolate chip cookies earlier, and I had two of them. None of those are stereotypically "healthy" food, but they fit in the context of my overall calorie and macro goals, so I ate…

You haven't gotten criticism.
-
Something isn't right. Are you also adding exercise into MFP? If you are, don't- the calorie adjustment in MFP is based on the data your fitbit sends over.

Last night was burger night. Tonight wevhad pizza. Both fit into my calorie and macro targets for the day. Lost 100 pounds by paying attention to serving sizes and tracking what I eat. It will be a cold day in hell before I eat tuna salad.
-
Are you weighing all solids in grams? What is your current height and weight?
-
Burgers and fries! Will probably have a lettuce wrap instead of bread.
-
Just because it hasn't been said enough, this is wrong, especially the bolded part. People who follow a 20:4 or similar intermittent fasting schedule do, in fact, lose weight by eating one meal a day, and that meal is frequently more than 1200 calories.

+1 for Aldi's. Lentils are very inexpensive and a good source of protein and fiber. We have meat for dinner maybe twice a week; the other five nights are bean-based.
-
Get a food scale. Weigh all solids in grams ("about the size of your palm" could be three ounces, could be six, the world will never know), liquids with measuring spoons. Peanut butter is a solid - weigh it. Try that for a few weeks.

With or without ACV?

I was in enough of a calorie deficit yesterday that I deliberately ate ice cream to be closer to my calorie goal. Will probably do the same today.

I got a Jawbone (activity tracker) in October; I switched to Fitbit Charge 2 a few days ago (the band on the Jawbone wore out, and their customer service is nonexistent). If you don't use it, it's an expensive paperweight; that said, I seeing my step, distance, floor, active time, and calorie burn goals each morning, and…

Weight loss is not moralistic - it's math. "Being good" means nothing as far as weight loss is concerned; ranks right up there with "eating clean". What specific behaviors have you done this time around, besides weighing all solids, measuring all liquids, and tracking your food? Have you started a new exercise routine? How…

Another vote for Does Nothing Whatsoever for my depression, ADHD, chronic pain, etc. I will be taking medication for the rest of my life; the meds work, so I'm perfectly fine with that.

Not one of them are "fat killers", which was the title of the thread. Additionally, if eating them causes someone to go over their maintenance calories, that person will gain weight. The d'Haubry macarons in my desk drawer, while not as nutrient dense, fit beautifully into my calories for the day, and are also advisable to…

10 to 15 pounds per pants size. Lost 100 pounds, went from a seze 20 to a size 8.

No one else was thinking of Adipose from Doctor Who? No.... well, sometimes. We're particularly harsh on bioscience, woo, and claims put up without a peer-reviewed source to support them. Stop by one of the ACV threads sometime...

Have you asked for a referral to a physical therapist? I hurt my lower back doing yoga a few years ago; I had referred pain (injury in one spot, pain in another), which may be part of your problem.
-
You need to bring this up with your psychologist.

Keep doing what you're doing. Make sure you've reset your calorie targets to account for the weight you've lost (your calorie target will decrease, because it takes less energy to move now thst you're smaller). If you've strayed away from a food scale (or never used one), use one religiously for a week to make sure you're…

DEFINITELY talk to your doctor, especially if you need medical treatment in order to conceive.

After losing 100 pounds, I now weigh certain things (meats, protein powder, peanut butter), as I have less room for error with 15 pounds to lose than I did 100 pounds ago.
