You can do this! :D The great thing about Zumba is you are exercising whilst actually having fun - I'm a huge fan of Zumba. Stay strong and good luck.

Hi :] First of all - Ask yourself what made you 'give up' the other times. Were you hungry all the time? Did you feel deprived? Was it unsustainable? There is no point starting again unless you address and solve the issues with the other attempts. You can do this, we'll support you here!

Hi Anna :] You're doing so well. Best of luck reaching your goal.

Hello :] I had always, always been a 'bigger' girl - even when I was very young. I remember my mum put me on a child friendly version of Weight Watcher's when I was around 10 years old but nothing would stop me reaching for food. Eventually, I lost 'the weight' and I'm now healthy and It was surprising .. because I didn't…

Picture the life you want to lead and how you want to feel - let that be your motivator. Of course, we'll help you here but ultimately that motivation will depend on how important your goals are to you. You can do this :)

Eeek, wrong site I think?

A one off indulgence isn't going to set you back - you're human :) It's good you've found a plan that is sustainable for you. Keep going, you can do it.

If it were me? I'd save up those unused calories for an indulgence at the weekend - this allows you to splurge a little whilst still maintaining a decent deficit. I wouldn't force myself to eat if I wasn't hungry but I'd definitely be aware of my appetite changes as time goes on. It may be worth keeping an eye on your…

I'm 5"2 (If any one of you lovely people want to send some HEIGHT my way, I'd be grateful). I started off at around 157 lbs. I managed to get down to around 118. This was not maintainable for me because I absolutely love food - I'm now back up to 138 lbs and hoping to lose around 7-10 pounds to feel comfortable again! :)

How long is a piece of string? Your calorie burn will depend on a number of factors: Your current weight, the intensity of your 'shelf stacking' being two main ones. To get a better idea of your burn, I'd suggest a heart rate monitor or a fitbit. This has personally helped me determine my burn doing every day things.

You seem to be doing okay on your own! Well done on your loss so far.
-
This will take time and patience. Unfortunately, we can't spot reduce fat (How good would that be?!) - we just have to keep eating at a deficit and waiting it out :)
-
My advice? Enjoy your birthday. This kind of event doesn't happen every week! Regardless of weight loss goals, you are still a human being and still entitled to enjoying some indulgences. Just get back on track once the celebrations are over. This won't set you back :)

Yeah - Commonly referred to here as 'Non Scale Victories'.
-
It's good to have a goal - but I think having a deadline is putting way too much pressure on yourself and also completely disregarding your successes to date. Keep doing what you're doing and enjoy it :)
-
Yes, I've felt exactly like this and to be honest? This is totally normal :) You are transitioning to maintenance and have developed a new relationship with food - the 'hard work' is coming to an end and you can now start to live like a normal human being! Congrats! :D
-
Amazing progress!! :D

Good luck Lindsey! :)

I'm sorry to hear about your leg infection - These things can certainly set us back so please don't feel guilty for not wanting to exercise.
