I didn't say permanently. And, again, don't like my advice? Too bad. No, knowing that you had to skip Snickers for the rest of your life is not the same thing as torture. It isn't considered torture by anyone who understands what the word means. Torture. Honestly. Exaggerate much?

I always eat breakfast and don't eat for a while before bed. It's a help for me. Try it for two or three weeks and see how you like it.

One or two days can undo two or three weeks of work if you swallow enough calories. If you've gone three weeks without losing anything, you're doing something wrong. Watch your calories and see what you can do differently.

Skipping a snack doesn't qualify as torture. OP says it's a big problem for her and she wants to quit them. If she wants to eat them, I don't care, but she says she wants to stop. The advice was meant to be helpful. If you don't like it, that's too bad.

I have never posted anything about weight loss on facebook. No apps telling the world that I went for a walk, no pics of my dinner with calorie counts, no announcements that I went to a gym. I assume that nobody cares enough to hear it every day because I certainly wouldn't want to hear about every move everyone makes.…

You can lose weight and tone up, but your body is your body and you may always be displeased with certain areas if you don't learn to accept them. So work on accepting the less perfect areas while you work on your body. Life is too short to spend it worrying about whether your body is enough. It is. You are.

I use USDA info. It's as good a guess as any. https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods?qlookup=Corn&fgcd=&manu=&SYNCHRONIZER_TOKEN=94749983-6cb2-43ad-b13f-a442bb64aadd&SYNCHRONIZER_URI=%2Fndb%2Fsearch

You can be thin and healthy without unhealthy snacks.

I get hungrier when I'm tired, but the hour doesn't matter. I noticed that my whole deal with wanting to eat at night tied in with being tired, so I started going to bed earlier.
-
Don't buy them. Don't make them. Cannot eat what you don't have. Thin and healthy is so much better than a snack.

It was wonderful. Seeing a 1 where there should be a 1 after seeing a 2 there for so long...triumph! I didn't go back up. I'm not going back up. I didn't do this work and make all these changes just to slip back into terrible habits. Health for the win!

For starters, log your foods in 24 hour periods. When the clock changes to midnight, log the next day and no matter when you sleep, log everything eaten during that 24 hours on that day. When your sleep is wacky, it's just much easier. Second, sleep is important for a variety of reasons and we have to assume it's important…

I was motivated to be healthy and losing weight was part of it. Motivation is really just wanting something. Want fuels action. If you want it badly enough, it becomes something you're willing to work for. You become dedicated. You're willing to sacrifice. I wish I could give you motivation, but I cannot. You have to want…

If you don't count all the people who are naturally slim, then they don't exist. If you do count them, though, they exist.

It's not opinion, it's fact. I'm surprised that when you studied nutrition it wasn't covered. I'm not debating it because it's ridiculous.

You won't convince that nobody struggles to keep weight on because I know better.
-
They are wrong. It's all processed unless you're milking the cow.

No, excessive protein can be the problem. The protein fad we are having is the second one. During the first one, way back when, nobody even put limits on it and some people developed problems because of it. At least one guy died. I think that was before the Take Steroids and Time Your Meals fads. Now we are back to…

Or it's because they're short guys who are small-boned and will just never be tall or very muscular. It shouldn't matter to them, IMO, but it does. Small people might get fat, but they'll never be big people. That's life. Believe it or not, it is difficult for some people to keep their weight up. Maybe you studied that…
-
Depends. People who struggle to keep weight on have a struggle, too. Different, but not easy. It's especially hard for small men who have trouble getting buff when that's what they really want.

I'll save you the trouble. The dentist will say that drinking pop isn't great for your teeth. So, if the OP isn't too legit to quit, limiting the intake of it is a good idea. When I was drinking pop, I was given special toothpaste by the dentist.

Honey will do a better job sweetening the whole thing because the sweetness of the raisins is rather self-contained, but I think you'd already figured that out. There are also an almost unlimited amount of types of honey, so you can keep trying new ones until you find one you love.

Centrum. I take it with my breakfast. Habit.

If you chop up onion, peppers or any water thing and let it sit for a bit, covered, especially if you add a little salt, you'll get some flavorful liquid that would help with the dryness of the potato. I usually let it sit for a bit on low, then heat it up really high and then turn it to low without opening the lid and let…

What do you want to do? Eat if you want, don't if you don't. In the future, don't swallow so many calories early in the day.

Egg works for me. I grind, then add coriander, mustard (a lot of mustard) and sesame seeds. I usually have some garlic and onion, too. It's not a popular combination, but I like it. I treat my burgers like meatloaf and will add whatever odds and ends I think might be good.

What is to debate? Very little dairy for me. I don't care what kind of dairy you eat, but the lower the fat, the lower the calories, fwiw.

You're making a series of stupid choices regarding your health. If you don't care, why should anyone else? You've already had this info (and other info) given to you. If you don't want to handle this stuff with your doctor, it's your body and your life. If you want to abuse it, that's up to you.
