Hi All! I haven't visited this thread for almost 2 years. I drink very little these days. I just don't enjoy it. I drink an occasional glass of wine, that I really don't enjoy at all Post-Covid, so I don't see a point. I feel great! I hope you all achieve your goals and if you would like to be friends, I'm looking for…

I agree totally with the OP. Even the work arounds are really not that convenient for people who want to make this a lifestyle not a short term diet. I guess complaining amongst ourselves is not going to fix anything. Where do we go to make suggestions to the web builders?

Have you tried Publix Apron Meals and/or Kits? The kits are a little less expensive but you have to do your own cooking, but it comes with everything, like HelloFresh. The meals are prepared and ready to cook in the oven. I'm loving Publix's fresh new approach to easy to eat healthy meals. I'm not sure if they deliver. I…

Sounds awesome! Enjoy yourself. Don't stress. And Good Luck!

Aside from the tuna most of the foods you mentioned sound like snacks or add-ins not main meal items. For me, those foods just add to my healthy meal or keep me from starving in between. What are you going to do at dinner time when everyone else is having curry and rice? If my plan of attack was to eat my granola while…

Thank you again EVERYONE. Each of you have some great nuggets of wisdom which I will think about moving forward. <3

@JustinAnimal I'm not one bit angry with my nephew. I am angry (alot at her and a little at myself), but not at him. He's too precious, innocent, and only concerned. @ADeCapua I will probably not get the family involved to 'let the war begin', but that comment did make me chuckle. ;) @PAV8888 I like the way you think and I…

I'm not sure what you mean? I think I took it as exactly what you just said about what he thinks. It just hurt to hear it. And "If your Auntie gains any more weight, she's going to explode!", doesn't sound like an innocent jest to me. And I don't know what a "job" is other than "to work".

A trip to the emergency room 2 weeks ago with serious heart palpitations. The diagnoses of atrial fibrillation has caused me to rethink my moderation goals. The Doctors and I are very sure that 'stress' has caused this, but these past few weeks have showed me that evening trying to drink a single glass of wine throws my…

I'm doing a #Clean14 2-week eating plan from The Clean Eating Magazine. No Grains, Refined sugar, Preservatives and additives, Refined oil, or Alcohol (EVEN WINE).

I'm back for October. I had a lapse in September, but I am buckling back down!

Sometimes I don't even want to drink. This is a change from drinking 2-3 glasses of wine per day before March. Alot of times I just want 1 and I'm good with that, the urge isn't even there any more. On rare stressful occasions, I do want more. I really have to watch that. Less is better for me though, as I sleep much…

Thank you. I'm going to try.

@JenT304 , @EIC_76, @RubyRed427 Thank you so much.

I'm drained. My mother has had a set back on her cancer remission. It's taking everything I have to keep moving. I've not been moderating like I would like. I give in because I'm just so stressed. I'm still not surpassing 2-3 drinks a night on the days I drink, but it's been more nights a week than I like. I felt very…

Also I personally would like to drop the whole One Day at a Time title and make it "Our Less Alcohol Journey" and that encompasses us all.

Since reading the whole alcohol is a poison post awhile back, I initially felt as some felt. At that time I wanted to post, "Hey I'm out.", just because I don't like to feel judged in any way, shape, or form. (And I'm sorry, it was a judgy post, maybe not on purpose, but it was.) I haven't found the time to post because…

Welcome! Day 1 is an awesome step!

Welcome! Come back often for inspiration!!

Lorraine, I use to have a password for one of my websites that was , "I love wine!". After having that password for about 6 months, I noticed that I was drinking more than average. I had to ditch the password. I am a true believer in the words. The words that you tell yourself can become your reality. ... That just gave me…

One night of AF means much to most of us here! Great job!

Hey Beautiful People! I am in for August. I am starting anew with weight loss and moderation. I love this place. Even when I don't post, I am getting something beautiful out of your thoughts. I didn't moderate in July as well as previous months and it might be because I didn't have as much time to spend here learning. It…

Welcome! Warm wishes going your way. Come here as often as you need. It's great that you set a goal. I think that helps at first. When you say, "less", I think your brain doesn't quite know what less is, but when you define it, you are on your way!! xoxo

@JulieAL1969 thank you for being such a great moderator! I look forward to continuing our journey together along with all the other beautiful people on this thread!

Hello!! I have finally caught up and have time to post in the same moment! I have been doing good. My new passion is yoga! I am loving it more every day. I wouldn't be able to do it if I was still drinking wine every night. I'm only on the weekends having 1-2 glasses, but I've been feeling lately like, "why?". I think…

I'm in again for moderation. I'm sorry that I haven't been posting. I had to take a break from worrying about my eating, tracking, and losing, so I was a MFP minimalist for a spell. I didn't take a break from doing them, just worrying about it all. I just finished reading all of June and there were some beautiful posts.…
