Im also now pre diabetic and on meds for high blood pressure. My dr sucks gave me no nutritional advice what so ever.

Why would i need 130 protein thats like 4 chicken breasts and maybe a few eggs. Please dont take this as rude im just asking and learning the right way. Thanks

It set them at. Calories 2600 Carbs 325g Protein 130g Fat 87g I believe thats what it set.

I never ate less carbs or sodium yesterday. I seen my dr im on bp meds just i find when i eat less calories yestetday 1300 im 377 pounds and today it was up some.

He gave me 30 days to lower it before going on mefs which is almost up.

I take my bp 3 times a day same time sitting, legs not too bent no tv or noises as thats how my dr told me to do it. Before i lost the 10 pounds it would average 135/90 now it averages 146/97.

I use 1/2 cup oats and 1 cup of water. Then yogurt and berries. Im looking for a way to still have the 1/2 a cup but lower the amount of total oats when cooked so i thought overnight oats an less liquid and granola no liquid.

Is oatmeal really as good for you as people say. 4 frams fiber in mine and my english muffin has 6 fiber and 6 protein. It says lowers cholesterol and other things but would the english muffins i buy not do that as well they have more fiber. Just wondering..

I love eggs. The reason i eat normal yogurt is suppose to have more calcium and potassium then greek both are good for helping lower blood pressure which i need.
