1 Just discovered I am not from a dunking culture 2 Pizza Hut is the worst pizza followed by Dominos. Little Caesars and Papa Johns are acceptable albeit trashy pizza esp if you are high.

I think you are setting yourself up for failure. You like carbs and think they are easy to prepare...so you choose the opposite eating style? Let's say you lose weight- are you planning to forever restrict carbs?

I'm on an onigiri kick right now- and that's mega portable and easy. And calorically cheap, depending on your filling. Sushi rice for one onigiri is like 150 cal. Umeboshi is 5 cal. Things like avocado, cream cheese, fish (if you're into it- I'm veg) are more. Plus you can make it look like pandas and *kitten*. ;)…

Smoothie every single day (whole milk, frozen banana, frozen berries or chocolate, or pumpkin, sometimes nut butter if I'm super hungry). 250-350 calories. I never get sick of it.

How many children do you have to regularly clock in 30k steps? Chasing my (I think) active toddler and preschooler rarely nets 10k. Do you live in a castle? Legit curious.

I think you should listen to your gut and do what makes *you* feel comfortable- not acquiesce to someone else's "no no" like you are a child. Personal responsibility is the basic currency of this journey.

I have small children, and I get it. One trick is to eat the same things generally so that you can log those things with more confidence. And skip things that are hard to log or that you can't moderate (I'm looking at you, chips). It just makes things easier when you are too frazzled to deal much less do extra steps.

Be sure you add 500 calories for bf a newborn and eat back your exercise calories. It took a year to put on the pregnancy weight, so expecting it to evaporate before your baby leaves the 4th trimester is unreasonable for most people.
