I'm 43 with 32 more pounds to lose. Have lost 33 so far. I will be really excited when I get to my goal weight of 130 and with each 5 lbs lost I notice a difference so I love the mini goals too.

Unfortunately it's the stomach for me and face. I have strong calf muscles that are a bit too big, but thighs look really good. I don't have cellulite on my legs like some women so I would say considering all of these things I gain like a male shape kind of.

I have really grown to love workouts. I am motivated by the amazing feeling I get after working out and especially after the shower. Also motivated by how much better I sleep. I do Les Mills classes and really do love them. I think the only thing that will ever stop me is an injury or illness as I believe I am hooked for…

I think you are most likely eating more than you think you are. If you recently started working out water retention can mask fat loss.

Well I would love to lose 32 lbs by then but realistically the most I can probably do is 16 which will take me to 147. My goal is 130 lbs and I am 5'4. I have been losing at a rate of less than a pound a week and that has been working great for me. It's slow, but the trend has been consistently downward so I'll take it.

I know for me weight loss was always so daunting because of my all or nothing thinking. Having a more moderate approach to weight loss has been a huge help and the dread I used to feel about eating less and working out more is gone. If you can do one thing I would suggest that you really really try to take a moderate…

I really love clothes and they just weren't fun when I was 195 lbs. I am now 162 lbs 5'4 with a goal of 130 lbs so the clothes fun is slowly returning. I will shop till I drop when I hit my goal weight!

I do Les Mills classes anywhere from 5-7 days per week. I aim for 7, but it doesn't usually work out that way as things come up and sometimes I feel like I just need to rest so I do. The classes that I do are Body Combat, Body Step and Strong Zumba. I find step the most challenging. I also highly doubt these classes are…

This is why I aim to workout 7 days per week, although it usually ends up being more like 5 or 6. Since starting to workout I sleep so much better and now fall asleep earlier. I have a desk job so don't see a problem with doing one hour of exercise per day. I do Les Mills classes and Strong Zumba.

I have been able to go shopping in my closet and drawers as so many of my old clothes that were too small now fit!! I have lost 32 lbs and am 5'4 163 lbs. I would like to lose 33 more and then REALLY go shopping for new clothes as at that point I will be too small even for my "skinny" clothes. I can't wait as I love…

Working out has been huge for me. I really enjoy it, especially the feeling of a shower after a really good workout. I do Les Mills classes 5-6 days per week. I also don't count calories, but I am cognizant of them. I pretty much just practice portion control. So I still eat burgers, but I have one not 2. I still eat…

How long is the cardio portion?
-
Yes I love to workout. I do 1 hour per day less mills bodycombat bodystep or strong zumba. I aim for 7 days but it usually ends up being 5 or 6.

It's my TOM and I am up 2 lbs too. I know it's just water retention but it sucks.
-
For those of you eating the large salads, what do you dress them with?
-
I think I can do 5 lbs.

When I had a job that required a lot of walking my feet were in a considerable amount of pain. It would come and go though and had to try a few shoes to get the right ones.

I have lost a total of 32 lbs and did buy quite a bit of new clothes but I recently went shopping in my closet and to my surprise so many clothes that hadn't fit me for over 3 years now fit again. So yay a whole new wardrobe for free! I can understand OP however wanting to buy new clothes that look good. Plus clothes are…

I have had some disordered eating in the past. Not significant, but enough that it was a problem. I now aim to workout 5-6 days per week and do Les Mills classes. I love love love these classes and miss it when I can't go. Nothing beats the feeling after a shower when you have really sweat. I strongly recommend finding an…

I agree. I get them at Walmart in Canada for $14.97 for 12. I love the chocolate peanut butter.

Anyone know where the quest pizzas are sold in Canada?

I have had coworkers tell me over and over that diet pop is ruining my diet. I am not convinced.
-
Usually between 200 and 300 calories.
-
This is so true and personally I think I have finally conquered all or nothing thinking when it comes to weight loss. In the past if I had one bad meal I would turn it into a day of feasting because in my mind I already ruined my diet. I would also skip my scheduled workout if I happened to eat poorly earlier. Now I will…
-
LOL it takes A LOT of restraint to refrain from eating the entire bar, but I do half because of calories.
-
I really love workouts and look forward to them so I don't skip unless I am feeling over-trained. What I do though is if it is one of my 2 heavy days I will do a class that is not as hard. So I will do bodycombat instead of bodystep. I also sometimes add an extra snack like a piece of fruit or half a protein bar.

I love love fitness classes so that is a deal-breaker for me. I know PF doesn't have them and I really hate cardio machines. If you mostly want to do cardio and aren't interested in classes then PF is a good option as I don't think you can beat the price.
