Hello! First time joining this challenge, hoping that daily commitment will give me the necessary push to see things through because losing weight with Hashimoto's is a bit harder than I'd like despite meds which makes it easy to fall off the bandwagon. SW - 174.1 lbs GW - 140 lbs for now 6/11 - 174.1 Had more ice cream…

Pass Day 4 I wasn't feeling well the past days but still tried to push through, turns out I have food poisoning and won't be doing any kind of exercise for the next few days. It's annoying this close to the "finish line" but until the poisoning I did very well and this isn't in my hands so overall I'm still proud of myself.

Pass Day number 3

Exercise: Done. - I'm still sick but half an hour walk outside really helped with the headache. Tracked: Yes. Within calorie budget: Yes.

Pass day number 2. I was sick so I didn't do any exercise or tracked my intake since I couldn't really be bothered to measure everything, my bed was calling out to me and I didn't want to spend more time in the kitchen than necessary (though thanks to nausea it's safe to say I didn't eat enough).

Exercise: Done. Tracked: Yes. Within calorie budget: Yes. I used to beat myself up about eating sweets or fast food which only made it worse because I'd start spiraling and therefore start emotional eating, etc. I know the blog post is questioning if those cookies are really deserved but ever since I do tell myself I…

Pass day. But at least I went hiking. I'd also guess that I was within my calorie budget but since I didn't track, there is no sure way of knowing.

Exercise: Done. Tracked: Yes. Within calorie budget: Yes. My main reason to use MFP is simply to get a good picture of what I eat in a day, initially I did it just for the calories but I noticed that I didn't get enough protein in a day - by far. So this is a great tool to make sure I hit all my goals.

Exercise: Done. Tracked: Yes. Within calorie budget: Yes. Ah, the good old diet drama. Unfortunately, I've seen that a lot in various communities - be it weight loss, lifting or general health. All it does is teach a highly unhealthy relationship with food and ultimately with your body.

Exercise: Done. Tracked: Yes. Within calorie budget: Yes. I personally only weigh in once a month but prefer to track by measurements, especially since I started strength training the scale goes up despite fat going down. I think using the scale is fine as long as you use it purely to make sure you're on track and to see…

Exercise: Done. Tracked: Yes. Within calorie budget: Yes - I actually ate way too little which isn't good.

Exercise: Done. Tracked: Yes. Within calorie budget: Yes. Luckily I never felt like I "have to" lose weight, it was more of a "I wouldn't mind to but I wouldn't torture myself for it" but I still think it's solid advice and very true. Thinking you have to puts a lot of pressure onto you that might make you frustrated if…

Exercise: Done - a nice long hike through the forest, fall is the perfect time for that with the trees turning so colorful! Tracking: Yes. Within calorie budget: Yes. I usually use pen and paper to journal or take notes about my eating/exercise, especially if something didn't go as planned so I can see what happened, if it…
