Guinness actually has a fairly low percentage of alcohol (I think around 4%). Also, the higher the percentage, the higher the calories, when it comes to beers (generally speaking).

If your daily goal was 1200 calories a day and you were running for 2+ hours a few times a week, I would say yes, eat back your exercise calories. 1600 calories is a reasonable goal, and I think an activity such as couch to 5K isn't a huge calorie burn. I've heard that you can take a can of frosting and whip it with beaters so that it gets more air in it. You get the same amount of coverage for less frosting.

Break it down ingredient by ingredient. Guestimate the serving size of each ingredient. There's way too many variables to just guess on the total of the whole thing. Was there a lot of chicken? Just a little bit? etc.

I think you have some options other than B&Bs. I just googled for about 30 seconds and found the Hermann Motel. Room rates $55.95 to $114.95. There's also the Hermann House Inn. $105-$175. The Vinchester Inn shows rates under $100 in January, may be higher later in the year.

I try and split it up. I do my strenght training in the morning before work and then my run in the evening after work. I find it gives my muscles a bit of a break. Sometimes it's a bit of a slog at the start but once I get moving it's not too bad.
