Yes you need a yoga mat and weights (preferably 3lb, I think that's what she recommends). And you can do it as often as you want, some people do it 7 days a week, I usually do it 5 days a week.

They're 20 minutes each and consist of strength (weight-lifting), cardio (a lot of jumping jacks and stuff like that), and abs (different variations on crunches). As long as you can fit a yoga mat you should be fine. Good luck!

It could possibly be an MFP error. A few days ago I ate maintenance calories and MFP said that I was eating too little and should make sure to have at least 1200 calories a day (even though I logged over 1500). So there might be a bug.

I think it depends from person to person. But have you been doing any strength training/toning? I think that makes a huge difference because you'll look tighter. But I think it could also be in your head a little bit. Personally, I rarely notice a difference looking in the mirror unless my mom points something out. It's…

Asked for Turbo Fire for Christmas so hopefully I'll be joining you guys soon! I already love Turbo Jam so I'm sure I'll love this.

I would call fasting just as bad if not worse than the things you mentioned. And it's definitely not natural or safe, it's seriously unhealthy. Plus, any weight you might lose doing this, you'll just gain back once you start eating again. You seem to be looking for an easy way out, but this simply does not exist when it…

Why not pack veggies in a cooler/insulated bag? That's what I did for my last road trip and it made healthy snacking a lot easier.

I go through phases like this but I find if you really push yourself to stop eating and distract yourself by doing something else (working out, cleaning, etc) you can get past it. After a few days of doing this it's easier to get back on track and you won't have as much hunger/cravings. Also for your snacks, make sure you…

Veggies! Try celery, baby carrots, bell peppers, etc and dip them in salsa. You can pretty much eat as many as you want and it'd still be difficult to even reach 100 calories.

Well now I do DVDs but before that I used to put on some music (Pandora) and dance for 45-60 minutes. I've also seen a lot of people recommend free online videos like bodyrock.tv

Whether I plan on going out or not, I always have snacks available to quickly throw in my purse. Other than that I think your best bets would be Subway or picking something up at the cafe in Whole Foods.

The time of the day really doesn't matter. Some people (including myself) feel that it's better to have a bigger breakfast but that's simply because it keeps me going and I happen to be the most hungry earlier in the day. But it really all depends on the individual. Do you have snacks between your meals? If you make your…

Bump.

Thanks for the rec, adding it to my queue. I love docs like this!

I have to ask the question...if you look and feel good, then why does your weight on the scale matter? Anyway, you've probably changed your body composition a bit. You're probably more muscular than you were before, and muscle weighs more than fat leading to a higher weight on the scale but lower body measurements and an…

Bumping for later.

I'm not quite sure if I'm thinking of the same thing as you, but right near my belly button I'm a lot wider. Right under that I'm a LOT narrower again and then there's my hips. So I guess it's kind of the appearance of "double hips". It's my least favorite part of my body because it looks awkward in a lot of clothing. I'm…

^This. Plus who wants to date a guy who isn't sure he likes them anyway?

It's dull. Would ^that be a bad thing? Also, today I'm feeling it in my lower back, as well. I'm mostly nervous about doing this workout again. Obviously I'll rest for a while and probably won't try lifting again for a few days to a week but I don't want to cause any damage.
-
Thanks I'll try these!
-
Oh and the pain's really bad on the back of my neck, too.

You don't need to stop snacking just make your snacks super low cal (ie: veggies).

They're not bootlegs unless you got them from an independent seller. It just doesn't have the bonus features. Mine doesn't either but my roommate has them on hers and they're not that great. Definitely not worth the extra money.
-
Agreed, she's excellent! But DON'T buy it from their website it's way over-priced. I got mine on Amazon for $12 :)

Bump, saving for later.

I would speak to your doctor since they'll know what's fat and what's excess skin. I would also focus more on toning at this point.

Count it for personal motivation in your mind but I wouldn't suggest counting it in your log. MFP will greatly overestimate how many calories you actually burned. I never count daily activities unless they are extreme.

Proteins: Perdue perfect portions chicken Turkey Unsalted almonds Salmon when it's on sale Grains: Plain oatmeal Whole wheat bread (Arnold's rounds at only 100 calories for two halves) Fruits: Apples Pears Bananas Unsweetened applesauce Veggies: Celery Carrots Bell peppers Lettuce Frozen spinach or frozen mixed vegetables…

I have the same issue sometimes and its definitely worse with 100 calorie packs because quite frankly they're not satisfying at all and you just want more. I'd suggest if you only have cravings once in a while, just go and eat the real thing. Have that slice of chocolate cake. It's much more likely to satisfy you and you…

First of all, just curious where are you from? I think it's hilarious that visiting America is what led you to gain weight. It just shows how messed up our country is when it comes to food. As for your question, I would definitely suggest upping your calories for awhile. How long did you try that for? I change my calorie…
