  • Drs at the hospital told me if I don't change my ways/it keeps happening it WILL kill me. So... :(
  • Hi! I had my first acute pancreatitis attack about a year ago, which I thought was horrible until I had my 2nd one a month ago where I had to call 911 cause I really thought an organ had burst in my torso and I was going to die. After my hospital stay I took my Drs advice for alcohol/food consumption to heart since it was…
  • THANK YOU so much for adding this. I think we all need to make this list <3
  • Burning more calories than you consume will /eventually/ result in weight loss. I don't know why everyone thinks it's rocket science. Probably because news, online articles, advertisements, and plain ol' human emotions get in the way of thinking simply. It only gets more complicated if you want a *certain* body type, like…
  • I just lost 31 lbs in the last 5 months. Got to my initial "goal weight", and of course once I got there I wanted to lose a bit more, so now my goal is to lose 6-11 more lbs. People are saying I'm looking skinny but I'm not feeling it yet. I'm 5'7 and 146 now, wanting to be 140-135. Any less than that and I also start…
  • for a HALF A CUP (do you know how small that is?) it's 220 cals, 11 grams of fat, and 26 grams of sugar. it's a once in awhile treat, not part of a diet.
  • How the heck is this a diet food???
  • Hey gorgeous! I'm also 5'7. I reached my highest weight ever about 3 months ago at 176.5 and was completely miserable. I committed to MFP ave since lost 19 lbs. My first goal is 150 which is where my body is most comfortable at and what I've been most of my life. After that I'd like to casually see if I can get to 140,…
  • 6 root canals and 2 of those teeth in the end couldn't be saved and had to be pulled. Even though they are kind of in the back, it has effected my smile and self-confidence daily. Implants are very expensive even with insurance. And I'm pretty sure I'm about to lose a third tooth. Started hurting again ever since I…
  • I may have body issues, but I'm really cute! ;D and I have *****in' hair. I'm also very comfortable with my personality. Not everyone may get me but I don't really care! I have a core group of people who will always adore me and that's really the most important thing in life.
  • ^^^^^^ this! BUT if you've always wanted one, maybe use it as a reward? Like if you don't b/p for x amount of time you treat yourself to a piercing. I like setting treat goals :)
  • I was a chubby kid, starting dieting when I was 8 years old. "Discovered" bulimia and was found out/sent to therapy at age 18. I refused treatment and haven't sought it since. It's been 9 years of falling asleep every night worried I won't wake up in the morning because my heart's gonna say "screw you".
  • I probably pay the most attention to my stomach, it's kinda how I gauge how I'm feeling that day. If it feels flat I feel good and slim, if it feels bulgy I'm the fattest person on earth. I haven't found a way to overcome that really except to wear baggy tops. My legs are pretty small all the time except for my upper…
  • well, it IS horrific... Halloween is about scary, horrific things? Not that I'm condoning it. Just saying from the person who decided that it was a good idea's stand point it makes sense. Go a step further, go as Bully Mia and cover your face and clothes with vomit and walk around with shipping bags full of food. ugh.
  • ch-ch-ch-chia! will a pottery dog grow in my tummy?
  • yeah, I say if you stay sedentary you can count every little thing! if you move it up stuff like "light cleaning" shouldn't really count anymore. I myself like getting to add activities and watch my available calories to eat go up ^___^
  • you shouldn't be worried about calories at a time like this. your body needs your support right now in giving it nutrients to fix itself. Listen to your body, eat whatever it compels you to eat, don't worry about logging calories until you're well.
  • sorry charlie, both black and green teas are energizing teas. looks like you're pulling an all-nighter :P

  • http://fatsecret.com/fitness/ go here to find a wide range of calories burned doing lots of everyday activities. you can add them to your own MFP exercise database. But realize this probably only counts if you're counting on a "sedentary" level lifestyle, which I do, so that every little thing I do extra counts ;)
  • Yes!! I've started cleaning every day because of this :) I also love running errands and shopping now because that TOO burns calories! "Driving can burn 122 calories per hour if you're a 160-lb. person. Walking slowly or standing burns around 152 calories per hour, but shopping burns 175 calories per hour for a 160-lb.…
  • seconded. this is a really rude thing to do to yourself.
  • I'm Meg, 27. Struggling with bulimia for 9 years, weight issues all my life. Seemed to "recover" for the last 2 years, but it made me gain 20lbs. I freaked out and started all up again. I'm trying to find a balance between losing weight the healthy way and complete ****ing madness. Hope I can find some support here :)
  • Heck yeah! This was my goal anyway, now I'll have extra motivation! :D
  • I've been taking Slimquick for about a month now. It really helps get me going for my workouts, which is why I'm losing weight. Diet pills are only there to help you put in the work, not do the work themselves. As long as you know that and have a healthy heart I don't see the harm in them.
  • general health DOES aid in weight loss! ;) never hurts to take one. It could be all in my head but I feel like it gives me more energy. I take One A Day Women's to keep my boobies healthy. There's also One A Day Women's Active Metabolism, but it doesn't look that much different from the regular women's vitamin to be honest
  • uh, almost EVERYTHING! My biggest Starbucks shocker was one of my fav winter go-to drinks: white peppermint mocha. Even getting a tall w/ nonfat milk and no whip it was STILL 320 calories! what!
