  • If I can ask, did you invest in a good, durable pair of jeans? I work in high end fashion, and denimn wear is SO undurable these days, there are only a small number of brands that make real womens jeans long lasting and flattering. I'm a size 8 -10 and I rip a pair of jeans every 4 - 6 weeks because of the bad quality of…
  • thanks, great advice guys! x
  • Looking at your food diary, even though your calories are fine your not really getting a balanced diet in there. I recommend dropping all the sugary drinks your drinking and lowering your sodium intake drastically.
  • Yea i do that too! I look at people who are the same size as me now and I'm like 'wow, theyre so slim'....but I don't see myself as the same size even though i am! So weird, but yea I'm loving the new shopping experience now!
  • I've been gluten free for about 2 weeks now due to severe stomach cramps and bloating whenever I eat it. Honestly, its the best decision ever and its really NOT THAT HARD. i thought i was going to miss pasta and bread/ sandwiches, but i've been really creative with my cooking now as you kind of have to and you'll find…
  • I was doing ok on 1200 then I hit 140lb and plateaued for a long time. I moved up to 1390, (i was SO scared about doing this) and it worked, I'm now at about 137 (in the space of a week)
  • also, i'd try reducing the number of processed food and meats your eating and adding more fresh vegs and fruits.
  • your over your sodium intake a lot of the time, that's probably a contribution factor as it causes bloating and water retention.

  • The same thing happened to me (although no child involved). I got worried that after we had broken up, we started to get on more and he even suggested we got back together. After much thought I decided not to, even though it was hard because he was one of my best friends, the thought of loosing him as a friend was the fear…
  • ergh, im feeling fine today and i'm STILL over 10st...feeling pretty discouraged now
  • i think is generally accepted on here that the protein goal is WAY too low. Don't worry about going over on proteins just stick to your calorie intake.
  • yea I always think i'm bigger than I actually am. I'll see my friends and think they have AMAZING figures, and find out i'm actually smaller than them. I have quite a large chest so they always make me look bigger than i am i think. But ya I should really give myself a break haha.
  • bikebikebike everywhere! does wonders for lower body strength and weight loss
  • im EXACTLY the same, recently i've gone under 140 (lightest in my adult life!) but i can't see it anywhere haha. BUT i do feel so much better in myself, healthier, more energetic, so i'm counting that as my reward :)
  • tbh, i think it looks like your eating healthy, even though sometimes your not eating back your exercise calories, but apart from that it seems ok. I wouldn't worry about loosing weight slowly, it means it'll be easier for you to maintain in the long run, rather than loosing super quick by a 'quickfix' diet, then putting…
  • I heard that 'rubbing in creams' to make cellulite disappear is more the 'rubbing' action and NOT the cream. I do body brushing every morning and the appearance of mine has reduced loads! http://uk.lizearle.com/factsheet-body-brushing
  • hey, you need to make your diary public
  • I work from home so I have that problem, i just don't buy what I don't want to eat! which is equally as hard when i pop to the shops, but out of sight out of mind right ;) I also have a really hard time getting up in the morning, so i usually try do some exercise right away to wake myself up!

  • your body needs a certain amount of fuel to run on through-out the day. when you burn up that fuel with exercise, you need to re-fuel it more. say 1200 a day you eat - 300 from exercise you should eat 1500 to help your body through the day AND the exercise
  • swimming works out everything! it's one of the fasted and most effective workouts, and burns a butt load of calories
  • I stopped taking it Ovranelle, and it became a lot easier to loose weight. BUT i do think it was more hormones than actually 'loosing' the weight to do with the pill. When I was taking that particular brand I felt sluggish, moody and tired, so obv never bothered eating healthy or exercising. I came off it and my mood is…
  • I used to love it but since Ive start being healthy I HATE it. My boyf doesnt complain though that i'm making food all the time :) He's making dinner tonight though so I've saved up my calories!
  • oh my gosh, don't worry about one cheat night! it'll prob just give your metabolism a boost!
  • i posted something similar the other day because i love eating lots of fruit and it says im always going over my sugar intake...someone told me not to worry as long as I'm not going over my caloric count...fruit can't be bad for you (unless you eat a bucket full a day)??
  • Hi, I went through exactly the same, I didn't loose any weight in the first 2 weeks. But you just got to keep at it, also there are a numer of different factors that might be hindering you, you could open your diary and we could see what the problem is.
